"Tell me a secret," I say as we lie on the mattress together, watching the stars. "Tell me something that you've never told anyone else before."

"Hmm," He contemplates this for a moment. "If I tell you, you have to promise that it'll just stay between us and that you won't laugh."

"Of course," I say in earnest. What could possibly be that bad?

"I have a weird kink for blindfolds and handcuffs," he admits.

"What do you mean?"

"Let me put it this way," he drew me closer and pinned me down beneath him. His breath tickled my ear as he said: "I like the thought of tying you up, blindfolding you and having my way with you until you're begging for me to stop."

I still, motionless in his vice-like grip. I don't even breathe.

"Oh god," he releases my wrists. "I've scared you off, haven't I?"

"No," I squirm. "It's not that."

"Then what is it? What's the matter?"

"I- I've never... had sex before."

I hear an audible gasp. "You're a virgin?"

"Yes," my voice is small.

"Shit, and I just told you all that," I hear him exhale. "Jesus. I'm sorry."

"It's okay. I was the one who asked."

He draws in a breath. "But you're so smart and beautiful and talented and so, so perfect. How come no lucky boy has swept you off your feet yet?"

Wow. He really thought that about me?

"Um, in my religion, we're not allowed to have sex before marriage."

"Holy fu-" he starts.

"I was just kidding," I interrupt. "And I don't know, I guess I just wanted it to be with the right person, at the right time. Having sex, I mean."

"Ah right," he pauses for a few seconds. "Do you think now is a good time, maybe?"

"Yes?" My voice is uncertain. "I don't know, honestly."

"Okay, if it's a no, then that's fine too. I don't want to pressure you." He sounded genuine.

"Okay, I've made up my mind. The answer is yes."

He chuckles softly before he pins me down again. "Good decision."
