Just Her

Chapter 2

The man's aura turned soft as he looked at the undeniable beauty in front of him. "It is an honor to be invited in your entertainment company, as people know we are rivals." He started off, "you may be a rival to the corporation but in here you are a mere visitor. I'm hoping to cooperate with you sooner than later." Unique answered as she sat in front of him. "To what do I owe this pleasure?" He asked, "no one, moving on. I'm guessing you know why I invited you." Unique answered. "I think I know, but this will be hard." Mr. Falcon answered with full honesty. "Precisely why I asked for you. If I we're to ask a mere company, would you think they can take Luke down?" She asked, "it seems a battle is brewing." He answered.

"I will give you the contract, I'm hoping to know your answer within 2 days." Unique offered the contract with a piercing gaze. He knew not to mess with this woman because she can ruin a person's life in or out of the industry. She was known for being one of the best and one of the ruthless CEO in the country.

People is scared to get on her bad side, with DS Entertainment they knew if a person would offend Unique their fate would be less promising.

She walked out with Mr. Falcon. She knew that this man was clever, that's why he advanced so quickly into his position now.

As Mr. Falcon rode his car he smirked, even though he knew not to mess with Unique he still immediately tore the contract and threw it in the bin of his car. He could not believe that Unique is looking down on him. He looked at his mirror as a thought came in his mind, he drove to DS Corporation.

Unique immediately called for Melissa. "Yes ma'am?" Melissa asked, "do not let Marcus Falcon out of your sight, we both know he's a scheming bast*rd." Unique ordered and Melissa nodded with no further question.

As Melissa discreetly followed Mr. Falcon's tracks she realized what he was doing. She immediately dialed Unique and told her everything. "What am I suppose to do ma'am?" Melissa asked. Unique's face turned cold, "let him be, let him think like he's clever even though I have him in the palm of my hand." Unique ended the call.

Even though Unique already knew that Marcus is not to be trusted, she risked it, because knowing that it will be a big blow to her brother she definitely won't miss the chance. If Unique contacted Marcus, who can she contact next? Unique just let him be, thinking he actually knows what Unique is going to do. She also knew Marcus would not read the contract and would just throw it. It's like Unique already predicted what to and what not to do.

She looked out her floor-to-ceiling window and admired the view. She knew if she lost to her brother she would not get to see anymore of this breath-taking view.

"Ma'am..." she was surprised to see Melissa came barging in panting. She immediately recovered her emotion, as a man barged in.

She knew who it was. As the man entered, it's aura was angry. After learning his sister tried to sabotage him, he was furious, but then again he couldn't blame her.

"You know? You are so petty, I have yet to even blow on you, yet you are so terrified and even try and make a deal with my rival! You are so cheap!" He shouted. Unique looked at him with a terrified look, he couldn't understand why Unique told Marcus her plan even if Marcus was not trustworthy, he looked at her and smirked. What he didn't know is that, Unique never told Marcus any of her plan. The contract too, was not even detailed that even if Marcus had read it he would not know any of Unique's plan.

She was truly thankful, because Marcus thought he was clever, he gave Unique a huge favor and a step to ruin her brother.

Melissa on the other hand was beside them, she saw how Luke had bullied Unique. Even if she was to intervene she knew she would get face-slapped immediately. So rather than stopping Luke she just shut her mouth as she silently record the two sibling's conversation.

"We both know you instigated the rumor between me and Guam!" Unique showed her angry side. Luke was so satisfied and thought he had already overlooked Unique as he looked down on her. Unique was a tall woman, but beside her brother she looked a lot smaller. "I can't believe you!" Unique exaggerated 'believe' as she continued to act. Unique suddenly burst into tears, she knew that Melissa was quietly recording.

Acting is one of Unique's specialty, even though few knew it she was really good especially when the scene is to sympathize other people.

"If you would only give me DS Entertainment, you would save yourself from so much trouble." Luke said, he did not notice that by saying this, he was revealing his true intentions.

She knew where he was getting at so Unique revealed her thoughts. "As a man and as a brother, I can't believe you have a mind of an ant! You are so shallow and petty that you would make such a rumor about me and an artist. You know that I will never get off of this chair even if you ruin me." Unique said and laughed bitterly as tears continued to roll down her eyes. "You really don't understand? You are not even capable of handling yourself, let alone an entertainment company. Just give me DS Entertainment and we would both be okay." Luke said, "if you give me one condition." Unique suddenly said, "I will handle DS Corporation." Unique continued.

Luke erupted into laughter, "and why do you think I will give up the corporation? I have sacrificed too much to hand it over to you!" Luke said, Unique wiped off her tears as she emitted a new aura. Aura of a queen. "same with me, I have sacrificed too much to give you DS Entertainment, I am ready to sacrifice even my reputation to protect this company! You are a CEO, you understand my struggles and suppose to help me, but what did you do?! You kept on trying to ruin me! Be satisfied on your position and you will not suffer my wrath!" Unique knew that now, she navigated the conversation. "You will suffer humiliation, Unique! The rumor? That will not be the end, not until I take this entertainment company from you!" Luke said as he ran out of Unique's office.

Melissa looked at her phone and stopped the recording. "This should make everything easier for you ma'am, with such evidence you can ruin Sir Luke in just minutes." Melissa said as she handed over her phone and transferred the recording immediately to Unique's personal laptop and even transferred it to many devices that she owns.

She was not going to throw this card immediately because she wanted to see how much more worse Luke can get.

She closed her laptop and went out, it was not yet the end of the day... but it was extremely exhausting.

2:00 PM. DS Corporation, people soon noticed that Luke's temper was at its peak. People gets shoved out, it was not a beautiful sight to see, but even though they were used to Luke using his power to step on everybody, this was also the first time he used extreme force as to slapping them.

They were feeling extremely uncomfortable not until a beautiful woman appeared. "Luke Davis!" Her voiced echoes through the whole hall, as Luke heard somebody called his name he immediately ran out. "Mom!"
