I stepped in through the door to mom's run down trailer with dread filled thoughts. 'What's it going to be today?'. I put my bag in my small blank bedroom and waited on my cot. "HALEY! GET YOUR DISGUSTING ASS IN HERE!!! NOW!". 'There's my cue'. Stepping into the mix matched living room I looked at my mom. "Ma'am?" I asked politely. She slapped me harshly. "Transvestite garbage" she growled. Even with the pain in my face I kept a straight face. "You're disgusting".

I pulled my Juul out from my bag and took a long draw. Blowing out the vapor I grabbed my razor. I pulled off my hoodie. Gripping the razor I glide it effortlessly across my fragile skin. I watched as the thick red blood crawled out and fell to the floor. I just want out of this hell.
