A siren sounds. Katsuki raises his head, a white staircase leading endlessly appears before him, soft humming accompanies the siren, slowly dying out as the hum remains persistent, soothing, mocking, and eerily... familiar.

"Or merely dreaming, we were snow..."

"D-Deku?"

"Kacchan, wants things, to be different,too-nigh-t."

"Wha-What, what is this Deku?"

A ghostly firm grasp encloses Katsukis violently shaking hand, leading him up the stairs. And dragging him all the way up and down several yards of an endlessly long path, stretching into the sky.

"Come on an... endeavor, kacchan, just this once. Don't. Let. Me. Fall."

"Things coulda been different Ka-chaan. I didn't have to die. It's probably your fault, actually. I vaguely remember, that was ah... years ago, no?"

Katsuki follows deku in silence, izuku's grip gone, but a need to follow him in place. Izuku turns around and stops abruptly in front of katsuki, stopping him in his place. Izuku's hand trails up to Katsuki's face.

"Believe me Dar-ling, the stars were made for Fa-lling!"

The faintess touch grazes over Katsuki's cheek before Izuku skips back in front of him, katsuki following in his wake.

"Wh-what do you mean deku?"

"Hm, clueless as ever, see kachan, I apparently had great things ahead of me. But ah, couldn't last that long." The chuckle Katsuki hears after that sends his blood chilling like ice. Izuku turns to see him stuck in place. He smiles then grabs his hand again, letting go when Katsuki is back to following him.

"Accrochez mollement, préparez-vous, étouffez, pas de souffle"

"Dek- what?"

"Nothing Kacchan, you know-"

The path is gone, they're just aimlessly falling, izuku collected while Katsuki is a sickly white.

"It feels like flying, but maybe, we're dying? I know you hurt me, burns staged self harmin-g."

The sickly sweet hum he adds to those words makes katsuki throw up in his own mouth, swallowing up bile with a sting.

When they hit hard ground, Katsuki limply falls on the side walk, moves his head to see Izuku's feet not on the floor, he glances up, to see Izuku with a noose around his neck, dead gaze and small smile unchanged. Katsuki throws up as he sees Izuku remove the noose from his neck and standing there waiting for him like nothing happened.
The atmosphere changes to a dream like haze, pink and orange hues filling the area, trees growing from nowhere.

"You look so di-vine to-night, red eyes gleaming, like the last time I sa-w you." Izuku's humming again, Katsuki being forced to trail after him.

"You know kachann, I used to love you, I think. I, I can't really recall though, been awhile."

Katsuki can't take it. He runs forward to try and hug Izuku, apology on the tip of his tongue, but before he can do that he's pinned to the ground by Izuku's foot.

"Oh, Kacchan, that just won't do, you see, I'm dead. Apology's mean nothing to me. You should have apologized long ago, before you know. I offed myself. But no, your pride was more important than my life after all. Ah, it feels good though, to make you suffer in guilt. I see you all smitten with, what was your lover's name again, Kirishima? Right? And I got bored of you having a good. Life. So I decided to make it a bit more, interesting. Y'know. I almost feel bad for Kirishima. I doubt he knows what a horrid person you are. Anyway. Making you pay is more important to me. Thanks for going on this walk with me, Ka-chan. Have the next moments to, collect, yourself."

Katsuki sits up in a cold sweat next to his fiance. Why, did that happen. Izuku has never been in his dreams. All the guilt from middle school crashes down on him till he cant take it. Writing a scratchy note out to Kirishima, he walks out to the balcony, tears never ceasing. And. Walks. Off. The railing.

"Toga!"

"Yeah, Izu?"

"Another down, these input chips are somethin else, huh?"

"OOH, who was it!?"

"The guy who drove me to run away, faking my own suicide."

"Hm, another target down?"

"YEAH DABI, HIS OLD BULLY!"

"That's nice babe, what'd you make him see?"

Izuku leans back in his chair, looking up at his boyfriend.

"A little fever dream. A blast from the past you could say."

Dabi looks down at his horrific monster, before leaning down and pecking him on the lips.

Izuku takes his titles at the league in stride. He loves being a horrendous monster, after all. What could you expect from a kid who had tried to actually off himself several times, from the repetitive abuse of a single crush. Do you know what that could do to a measly 14 year old?

Um, this was a really random idea I came up with at about, 2 am? I'm ok-ish. I was listening to the song above and inspiration hit. So this is the result of the shit i think of after, thinking to long. I hope you like it, I honestly like the way it turned out. The song is much eerier than this fic, so i would recommend listening to that. But ah, yeah. That's about it! Hope you have a good time, whatever time it is for you, and I'll be going :)
