31 - English sucks

Hello again everyone, I have come back from the dead to tell you why English sucks.

Now this all started earlier this week, when after finishing six tasks that were overdue because my teacher forgot to add me to the group, they assigned a new task. Annotate a poem. 

So I opened up the assignment and thought, "Alright, shouldn't be too hard."

I was wrong. To keep it short, the task assumes you've had a certain upbringing, as most people with that upbringing know about what the poem is referencing. I wasn't brought up that way though, so i had a lot of fun researching the catholic church for a day!

After spending the most of Monday doing research, I annotated the poem on Tuesday. While it wasn't my best work, I thought it was alright. I handed it in and that was the end.

It wasn't though. I woke up this morning to find an email from my teacher. My work apparently isn't up to the "higher standard" and that I need to do it again. 

So here I am, procrastinating again, because fuck English! You can't tell me my work isn't up to your standard when you aren't even giving me help or telling me what to do beyond "Annotate this poem"

And the best part is, they pulled this exact same shit with the other tasks and in all my other subjects! How am I meant to know how you want the work done when you give me no example answers or help!

So in summary, School is shit.

On a brighter note, I'm re-writing my JoJo story in whatever free time I have. I'm halfway through re-writing the second chapter and once they're all done I'll finally get around to finishing the next chapter.
