"Oops" I yelled looking down and it was a book─ in a bad shape, I quietly picked it up and examined it. A brown torn cover and the pages were also slightly torn. it looked like no one really used it who's notebook is this..? I looked around and I was the only one standing in my deserted street.

After showering, I had leftovers and got changed into my PJ's. I sat down on my bed I checked the time and it was sharp 11.30.

My 'father' isn't home as usual─oh yeah he sleeps at the liquor shops. I'm tired of arguing about it, it's not like I can do anything about him, he does as he pleases
I stared at the book I picked up earlier yes, I took it with me which was weird 'cos It's something I usually wouldn't do but then it was abandoned in the road so why not?

I began turning the pages and it was all blank, all the pages looked slightly distressed though. "Well..I should probably sleep now.." I whispered to myself and closed the old book and kept it on the nightstand, turning off the dim night lamp. I pulled on my blanket and turned around, slowly drifting into darkness

But, suddenly, the wind blew pretty hard making those curtains rustle followed by a sudden loud thud. A small gasp escaped from my lips and I sat up quickly looking around, my heart is ready to jump out of my chest. The wind was blowing in my direction and the curtains flying up in the air, I quickly walked over to the windows and closed them.

"God.. I wish these thunderstorms could inform me before it arrives. I forgot to do my laundry and it looks like I can't do it for the next few days.." I mumbled to myself and walked back to the bed.

"That..book.." I bent down to grab the book from the floor, must have fallen down from the breeze. It was opened so I was about to close before something caught my attention making my eyes go wide as I stared into the page.

The wind seemed to calm down a bit, but I can hear the thunder rumbling far away from me, as the lightning strikes.

"What in the world is this...?"

Rules..? I read out loud and my eyes moved down, this whole page is written in a beautiful classical calligraphic style
"But..the pages were blank when I checked.. how's this..?" I stopped wasting my time and read out what's written in it.

I might look crazy talking to myself but it's something I always do, but at the same time it really seemed convincing to me, my gaze moved to the wall clock in my room.. I sucked in my breath, it was 11.50 already, 10 more minutes to 12. A good time to try this out...

Well..I got nothing to lose so why not try?

I took a deep breath, 8 more minutes till 12 and I need to come up with a good one, I never really wished for anything other than being successful in my studies. But, this seems to be a good opportunity to see what I've always wanted in life, at least for a day..
