Chapter I

"SEEKAH GRAB THE BEER!"

"VIPER! PUT COLIN DOWN!"

"COLIN I SWEAR YOU BETTER NOT GO ZETA MODE-,"

"PAT! WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT FIRING GUNS INDOORS!?"

"LILY! GET THE CAMERA!"

"BREN, HELP!!!!" Michael yells.

Today was a special day in Grimshade. The whole guild have come together to celebrate Grimshade's fiftieth anniversary. Every year, all members of Grimshade gather in the guild hall and take a 'family' photo to remember each other. This idea was introduced to them by The Protectors fifty years ago, The Protectors managed to convince the present guildmaster to make it a tradition for the guild, in memory of their previous guildmates. Since then, all of Grimshade have been celebrating it's anniversary, despite having many members who despise that day.

So you're probably wondering,

If many members of Grimshade hate celebrating that day then why do they even bother to come?

Well, even though they hate that day, the members do have respect for their fallen comrades so most of them reluctantly attend despite not enjoying the party at all. There are two more reasons why the members attend. One, Grimshade's anniversary always has a ton of beer and other alcoholic beverages, this is what attracts most of it's members to it's party as it gives them an excuse to drink all night without getting told off, and finally, the last reason is simple and a pretty obvious reason, everyone's afraid of the guildmaster's wrath, so that's why even the most stubborn guild members attend this event.

Michael sighs,

"OUR GUESTS WILL BE HERE IN AN HOUR! THIS PLACE ISN'T EVEN DECORATED!" Michael bellows at his guildmates.

"DECORATED!? SINCE WHEN DID WE HAVE TO DECORATE FOR THE ANNIVERSARY!?" Mitch yells as he throws a chair across the room in frustration, he was one of the people who were forced to attend the party against his own will.

"Yeah, and since when did we have guests over for our anniversary?" Lily asks, "I thought it was a Grimshade only party."

"Well yes but I've decided to bend the rules a bit, we'll be celebrating with the other guilds of Atlantide this year," Michael replies,

"Michael, you just took away everything that made this anniversary special away from Grimshade by doing that," Pat mutters in annoyance. "I myself am not a fan of the party itself, I only go for the alcohol, it's hard trying to get all the alcohol to yourself in the party but with three other guilds attending!? Now I'll never be able to drink!!!"

"Quit complaining Pat," Michael says, "I made sure to only give each guild four barrels, and the rest, is ours,"

Pat smirks, he was obviously pleased to hear this.

"Okay with the alcohol aside, decorations? Isn't this place decorated.. enough?" Colin asks confused.

Michael gives a demonic looking smirk, it was almost as if he had a plan in mind, which he did.

"Huddle together Grimshade, I've got plans for tonight~,"
