As I step into the house I get this strange stormlike feeling emanating from the house like it's some sentient being which I have trespassed into its abode without some sort of greeting, my sister is screaming all around the house, it's a vibe I feel like taking part in but like my role model, you'll never catch me simping in a new neighbourhood, I see someone come out of the shadows in a red dress, looking like a flame, it's Catalina, beautiful and smirking she walks towards me but stops some steps before she reaches me, maybe it's because she sees my mom come in, although the strange feeling's stopped,I can sense something brewing.
"Catalina, what are you doing here?"
"You know, figure it out, your memories are rushing back in aren't they?"
My grandmother, Angela finally enters staring or rather glaring at my mom.
Then says, " Ah, at last the prodigal daughter is back, thought you would stay away forever, after all home is a man's main fort"
"My ever annoying mother, told you I'm not going to teach them nor allow the others too"
"Of course dear, that's why I'm teaching them, I'm the best you know, by the way Elvine is around, I'm sure your sis would love to say hi"
"Never Angela, I don't want my family to be part of whatever you are cooking up this time"
" You'll still run back to me you know, when it starts, when they start actually"
"I don't care, I'll take care of the situation, like I've always done", my mother says coldly
By this time Rapha had entered the house,
"What's up guys, why does everyone look like hurricane Katrina just passed by? Liven up a bit, oh... Hello Grandma Angie, love the building, its so old and new all at the same time, I love it"
Classic Rapha, not caring about others
And like that all of them go back to normal all smiles and hugs, I'm wondering if I just imagined it all.
Catalina shows us to our rooms, which are exquisitely awesome by the way, we load everything in and go to sleep, just to wake up the next day to mum and Grandma Angie arguing in whispers I get up to listen to them but I can barely hear anything.
"They're too young for any of this and so vulnerable, for God's sake mother their Dad just died, they won't be able to handle any of that stress, just leave them be, okay?"
"Only because of the incident, you were supposed to bring them here way before that, Elvine, what do you propose"
Aunt Elvine says something to quiet for my hear to pick, however I hear gasps and sighs.
"That's too harsh, let's wait for them to start..." I can't hear what my grandmother says but it brings some sort of amusement from the house, if I'm not hallucinating again.
I go out to confront them but no one is there apart from the house cat, Bast. I tip toe round to check the rooms but everyone is fast asleep, " it must have been the stress" I reassure myself, take some water and head back to sleep.
