The Assassin & The Schuyler~Marliza

Chapter 3

Maria's P.O.V

Who knew it was so easy to get the Schuyler sister's numbers?  I had called them this morning and was heading over to their place. Things are really working in my favor! Just a few more days and then she's dead!

I decided I would take Philip with me. Philip had just gotten himself buckled up when Alex and John came out. I let out a loud groan of annoyance. Before one of them even opened their mouth I straight up just said no.

"Ooh come on! Please let us come!" Alex begged. The dude is 21 but he acts like a 5 year old. "Alex, stop. Maria said she doesn't want us to come." John said, sounding just as annoyed as I was. John is the more drunken one but also more chill one in their relationship. 

"Sorry Alexander, but I don't need a drunk idiot clinging onto my shoulder." I said. "But i'm sober!" He whined. "For now" I said. "John, please control your boyfriend." 

"You don't have to tell me twice." John said and I climbed into the van and stepped on it. i expected Alex to jump onto the van or something but surprisingly he didn't.

I pulled up to the Schuyler mansion and Peggy ran up to Pip. Pip threw himself into Peggy's arms. They hugged for about a minute until Peggy looked up and jokingly said "Oh Maria! Your here to."

I laughed with her and we went inside. I saw her mom washing dishes, Peggy told me they had just wrapped up lunch , and her dad reading the newspaper. Eliza came from the living room. Damn...she looked beautiful. "Hello Eliza. How are you today?" I asked, trying to be polite.

 "Oh i'm doing fine! How about you Maria?" She asked, giving me a smile. "Oh i'm fine."

"Would you like something to eat darling?" Mrs.Schuyler asked me. "Oh yes please. Thank you Mrs.Schuyler." I respond. "Just call me Catherine or Kitty please. You are.....Marie?" She asked.

"Maria. Thank you." I tell her.

Angelica comes downstairs and smiles. Then Catherine noticed Philip. "Oh my. Who is this little boy? Your brother?" She asked, offering him some Swedish fish. "No he isn't my brother. This is Philip. " I tell them and then begin telling them Philip's backstory thing.

"Oh I see. Why the name Philip?" Mr.Schuyler asked. They share the same name. "Well I have 4 roommates and a pair of adoptive parents. We all just put several names in a hat and Philip came out first." I told them.

Some of that is true. We did do the hat thing and that's how Philip got his name but as you can guess my 'roommates' are Alex , John  , Herc and Laf. As well as you can guess my 'adoptive parents' are Mr.Washington and Martha. I clearly can't tell them about the fact that we're assassins.

"Oh. Well I would love to meet your roommates and parents one of these days!" Catherine said, a hint of excitement in her voice. "Trust me ma'am I don't think you want to meet my roommates. They're...loud.....to put it lightly. But maybe one of these days you can meet my parents." I tell them. 

"Hey Maria. Do you maybe wanna take Pip into our garden and maybe the 5 of us can..I don't know. Run around out there." Angelica asked. "Yeah sure. Come on Pip."

Peggy and Eliza were already outside. Peggy began playing with pip right away and Eliza sat down. Angelica went to playing with Pip while I sat down next to Eliza."Hey,are you alright?" I asked.

"Oh yes I'm fine. Um...I just wanna get something off my system. You can keep a secret...right?" She said. I nodded. This may or may not be something I can use against her. "Just know this is something I haven't even told Angelica and Peggy." She told me.

Yep. This is clearly gonna be something I can use against her. "I'm..pansexual." She whispered. Okay. Scratch using this against her. But I guess I had to give her a supportive response. Y'know. So she thinks we're cool or whatever.

"Okay and? 1 of my roommates is bi and the other 3 are gay. I myself am a lesbian." I explained to her. That wasn't a lie either. Alex was bi meanwhile John , Herc and Laf were gay as fuck. 

I actually was married to James Reynolds after coming out to my parents cause they thought it would "cure the gayness" or some bullshit like that. Surprise, surprise. It didn't  work. Eliza let out a breath of relief. 

"Thank god. Do you think I should tell Angelica and Peggy?" She asks. "Of course! There your sisters! They should accept no matter what." I respond. Angelica waves Eliza over and they switch places. 

Me and Angelica sat in awkward silence for a few minutes. "So wanna hear a little bit of a funny story?" She asked. "Sure. Anything to keep from the awkward silence." I laughed.

"So I was in second grade with this kid named Alexander...Ham...Ham...Hamilton! Yeah, that's his name. Alexander Hamilton. Eliza was in first grade at the time." Angelica started. 

"What did he look like?" I asked. "Brown hair, short , wore glasses from time to time. Couldn't shut up if his life depended on it." She responded. 

Oh. My. God. Their talking about the Alex I know. Yeah this is gonna be a good one.

"Anyways, shall we get into the story now?" She asked. I nodded. "Okay, so I had a crush on Alex and the first and second graders went into recess at the same time. So of course Alex and Eliza would commonly play together and then Eliza went up to me and told me she had a crush on Alex." She said.

"Like I said, I had a crush on him. But I decided I would be a good big sister and get them together I guess. It worked. They  got together. Quote on quote." She said. "They 'dated' until the 10th grade when I was Eliza was in 8th grade. Not because they were going to separate schools, but because Alex just up and disappeared one day. Wherever he is, I hope he is okay." She said, her voice trailing off a little bit.

Holy. Mother. Fucking. Shit. Damn. Alex and Eliza "dated".  Who knew? Peggy and Eliza were sitting down with Pip so I walked over to them. "Eliza can you come here?" I asked. "Of course." She said and got up. 

Angelica and Peggy began talking to Philip. "You should tell Angelica and Peggy about your pansexuality. I'll be right behind you while you do it." I tell her. She stand up and it seems she has a lot of confidence. "Hey...Angelica..Peggy." She said walking over to them. I followed her and ushered Pip to my side.

It was right then and there Eliza came out to her sisters. They were supportive and the whole thing ended in a wholesome ass hug.  Honestly, She is so nice.

If only I could date her. Wait..what? I hardly know this girl. And she's my target! I'm meant to kill her! Jesus fucking Christ. I take Pip's hand. "Okay Philip. Go say your goodbyes to them. Tell them we're leaving now." 

"Okie!" He says and runs up to the Schuyler sisters. "Bye Angelica,  Eliza and Peggy!" He said and gave a hug to all of them. He and Eliza came back over to me. I get down to Pip's level. "Go tell Catherine and Mr.Schuyler we're leaving." I tell him and point him inside.  I'm about to follow him when Eliza taps me on the shoulder.

I turn around and Eliza gives me a big hug which I return right away. "Thank you Maria! Finally now I've told my sisters. I'll be telling my parents...by tomorrow! Maybe in a couple days, you can come over for a sleepover in a couple days! Well i'll have to consult my parents and sisters but...yeah. Once again, thank you so much Maria!" She said. 

"Your welcome Eliza. Also, I would love to come over for a sleepover in a couple days." I responded. She looked up at me with a beautiful smile. "Alright. Also, i'll call you telling them the response." She said.I nodded and made my way to the car.

Jesus. What the hell am I supposed to do now?
