On December 17, Jeongyeon's agency JYP Entertainment announced, "Jeongyeon is currently pregnant with her second child. She is 2 months into pregnancy and preparing to welcome a precious new life. She's expecting her child in the coming Summer." The agency added, "She will continue her activities along with prenatal education as long as it's not overtaxing her health. We ask for your encouragement and blessings so that Jeongyeon can give birth to a healthy child."
Jeongyeon, who is formerly a member of Twice and currently working as an actress, got married to Former BTS member Kangmin in 2025 and gave birth to their son Changkyun in March 2027.
