you wake up in payton's arms and you feel safe. payton looks at you.

P | oh your awake. how'd you sleep.

you sit up and hug him.

P | we should probably get stuff on those.

he pulls out a med kits and puts me since in some cuts and bruises.

y/n | thank you.

P | we are setting up our room today.

you walk over to your "new house" payton shuts the door behind you. 

P | okay first things first. the case.

y/n | ughh. really? i don't want to talk about it.

P | come on. your parents-

y/n | PARENTS! payton pull out the files. quick.

he pulls them out and you flip to the time stamp.

y/n | payton it's blank! meaning no one has worked on it!

P | what does that mean?

y/n | either someone forgot to do their job... or someone doesn't have a job.

P | are you saying-

y/n | our parents...don't work for the FBI anymore. these are stolen files!

P | what the hell?!

y/n | but payton. we should tell nick and chase.

P | what about-

y/n | come on.

P | fine.

you get nick and chase into your room.

y/n | so as you know am and payton both moved here different times. being completely honest we came because our parents work for the FBI.

N | WHAT?!

C | you guys are investigating me?!

P | no we need your help. it's all your parents.

C | i don't know anything about the deaths.

y/n | we don't think you do.

C | drop the case. you guys aren't actually agents. you aren't committed so you can leave it. be normal.

you look at payton.

P | should we.

y/n | it's only brought me pain.

payton drops the files.

P | it's over. to living our own lives.

you guys all huddle up. you tear the files and throw everything. this is your start to just being normal. just being. a kid.
