Blah blah blah,I couldn't just concertrate ,not with this interesting book that am reading. Truly, Patty wasn't joking when she said that I was going to love this book. She really does have good taste for books.
It's been a week since I started reading this book and the suspense is killing,every page,every chapter,and even every freaking word is just interesting.
I'll honestly have to go through my geography text book to cover up the losses.
"Mergan?, mergan!"
I quickly tore my stare from the book to the voice only to come face to face with angry looking teacher.infact,the whole class is looking at me!...why are they staring...what did I do?...put yourself together Mergan!
"Am sorry ma'am,I wasn't listening"
I voiced out shamefully, earning laughter from a few students.
"Of course you weren't listening,for the passed few days this week you haven't been focused and I still wonder how you manage to keep a perfect grade."
I only blinked my eyes causing her to roll her eyes at me.
"I was asking a question at first,so Mergan, what's a relief rainfall?"
I swallowed in confusion because honestly,I wasn't listening.
I slowly stood up and just as soon as I did,I regretted it cause the next thing know,the whole class came staring again because of the loud bang the huge book caused after hitting the floor.
"What was that?"
Mrs.louis questioned with a farrowed eyebrow as she claimed steps towards me.
"Uh-,it was just me stomping my foot on the floor...my shoe was becoming a little bit uncomfortable"
I lied but she kept coming and I know trouble was next. So,I did the quickest that ran to my mind. I kicked the book backwards causing it to slid from under my desk to person behind me...I just hope he or she doesn't rat me out.
"Ouch!"
I hear the person Yelp and at that very moment,mrs.louis was standing directly in front of me inspecting.
Thank goodness she couldn't find anything so she just walked back to the teacher's desk with an unsatisfied look. Am so going to thank who ever was sitting behind me for playing along.
"Seems you weren't listening in class, again"
I only replied by nervously rubbing the back of my neck.
"Sit down and this time pay attention."
I nodded and quickly sat down. Not too long after I sat down, I felt someone's lips close to my left ear and a familiar voice wisphered.
"How did you get this book?"
That's when my eyes widened in shock,guess I'll not be thanking anyone after all.
