--Tony forgave Natasha for letting Steve get away once he knew about Zemo--

Tony was a nervous wreck. He'd spent the last few months getting pardons for the Rogue Avengers. But part of the deal was they were on house arrest for the next 6 months; it had to be a place where the UN and S.H.I.E.L.D could keep an eye on them. Unfortunately, that place was the Tower. Tony wanted to keep Peter and him as far away from them as possible, but the Compound was too far away from Peter's school.

Peter knew the Rogues were coming, and he wasn't happy. His dad made him promise to stay in the lab when they first arrive to avoid any confrontations. To say Peter hated the Rogues was an understatement, especially Steve. He saw how Tony came back from Siberia. He knew of his nightmares and panic attacks. So it was probably a good idea for him to stay away.

Natasha met Steve, Sam, Clint, Scott and Wanda at the front doors.

"Stark will meet you in the common room. We expect you to be respectful and listen to him. I highly advise you to stay civil, because there are people up there who won't hesitate to kick you into next week."

"I don't see why we should listen, it's his fault we were locked up in the Raft in the first place" Wanda whined. Natasha rolled her eyes. Despite being 21, she still acted like a complete child.

"No, he's the reason you got off the Raft. So you better be respectful or leave."

Clint and Scott agreed at once. Of all the Rogues, they were the most civil towards Stark. They were grateful he had helped them escape so they could see their families.

Tony was waiting for them on the common floor. He was panicking over seeing Steve again. He still had nightmares over Siberia. Rhodey tried to calm him down, but it did little.

Peter was tinkering in the lab when FRIDAY told him "It appears boss is having a panic attack. Colonel Rhodes has requested you go to him." Peter knew this would happen, how could it not. He sprinted out to the common room and saw his dad; Tony was pale and his hands were shaking. Peter ran up and gave him a hug. "Don't worry, everything will be just fine. As long as I'm here, no one can hurt you (Did you see what I did there) Once this is over, we can just chill on the couch. Sound good?" Tony took a deep breath. He would be fine; Rhodey stood on his left and Peter on his right. He wasn't in Siberia, he was in the Tower.

The elevator opened and Steve and Co. stepped out. The room suddenly felt colder

"Stark"

"Rogers"

"Thank you so much for letting us stay," Scott said. Wanda rolled her eyes and muttered "It was his fault in the first place." "Wanda," Nat growled, "drop it." Nat's face softened for a moment when she saw Peter. She had been friends with May and had a soft spot for him."

"Ok, here are the rules. You are to stay between floors 92-95, Your rooms are the same as you left them. The penthouse is strictly off limits. You have clearance 9 badges, which means if you try to access the penthouse, FRIDAY will sound the alarm."

"But we used to have full access." Steve protested

"Yes, but then you stabbed us in the back." Rhodey said

"Why are we discussing this in front of a child?" Sam sneered.

"This is Peter" Tony said "My son"

Steve scoffed "Let me guess, left over from a one night stand?"

"Steve, I highly suggest you back off." Natasha warned him

Clint and Scott looked at Steve shocked.

"Or are you just a charity case? There's no way this playboy could be a dad." Sam said

You are so screwed Natasha thought.

Dad mode fully kicked in for Scott and Clint, they walked protectively over to Peter. They didn't even know the kid, but nobody deserved to be told that.

At this point, Peter was shaking with anger. "How dare you come in here after all you've done and insult my dad like that."

"You're just a child, you wouldn't understand." Steve scoffed

"No, Mr. Rogers, you don't understand. Tony took me in after my aunt died."

"So you are a charity case" Steve didn't even see the punch coming. He was thrown across the room and made a dent in the wall "You don't get to say that about my dad. I'm Spiderman and Peter Stark. Don't hurt my dad or you will be very, very sorry." Then Peter webbed him to the wall, making sure there was one over Steve's mouth too.

He walked back to the group nonchalantly; Tony, Natasha and Rhodey's faces were beaming with pride, and Clint and Scott couldn't help but smile. "I did warn you" Natasha said

What was left of Team Cap was fuming. "So you're the little freak from Leipzig." Sam said "Is that why Tony adopted you?" Tony wanted to strangle Sam right then and there, but knew Peter had it taken care of.

"You just don't learn, do you?" Peter said, then webbed Sam up next to Steve

"Why do you hate us so much" Wanda asked

"Oh, did Steve not tell you?" Peter asked Steve's face immediately paled. Peter looked to his dad, who nodded his approval. "Steve didn't tell you that Bucky, and I know it's not Bucky's fault, killed Tony's parents, and Steve knew the whole time? He didn't tell you that he beat the crap out of my dad in Siberia and left him for dead?"

The room fell silent.

"Steve, is this true?" Clint asked quietly. Steve shamefully nodded his head. Wanda asked quietly, all her anger towards Stark gone "Are we allowed to go to our rooms now?" She sounded like she was going to cry; she felt betrayed by Steve, the man who was like a big brother to her.

"Of course" Tony said softly. Natasha followed Wanda to the elevator to comfort the girl.

Clint turned to Tony and said "Let me get this straight, Peter is your adopted son correct?" Tony nodded "And he's Spider-man?" Tony nodded again "Cool, we get a new member to our dad club."

"I guess so. Why don't you get settled and we can talk later."

"Thanks again Tony" Scott said "What are we gonna do with Spangles and Bird-Brain?"

"Don't worry" Peter said "The webbing wears off in two hours." Steve and Sam made noises of protest, but nobody cared

"Dude, I like him already." Scott said

"Come on Underoos, we've got a movie waiting for us" Tony said.

Partway through the movie, Peter turned to Tony and said "Are you mad at me for punching Steve?" "Mad at you? I couldn't be more proud. Plus they learned, don't piss off SpiderSon."
