I was standing outside my photography class, on the second floor, waiting for my teacher to arrive. To pass the time I look over the banister and try to see any of my friends or my teacher and wave at them. I watched a group of my friends pass the front desk and leave the building when my eyes caught a strange man talking to the receptionist. I'm not gonna lie, but I am very nosy, so seeing a mysterious man in a suit trying to get into the college I was intrigued. I texted my friend, Evie, who was sitting on the ground floor to ask if she sees the man and if she has seen him before. She replied saying she has never seen him before. I thought 'fuck it' and ran down the stairs to go find Evie and talk about the mysterious man. I emailed my teacher saying I didn't feel right today and wasn't going to be in, he believed me. Downstairs I found Evie and the man was still at reception now just leaning against the desk.
We decided to walk past him to see if he would do anything as it seems like no one is wanting to pass him. I grabbed my bag and we headed to the door. I was extremely nervous. If he started talking to us I have no idea what I would say. I can't talk to normal people let alone a strange man in a suit, he seems special and important and I'm neither and socially awkward so this is going to be fun.
We scanned our ID cards to let us out, during this I was constantly being stared at by him. I felt him looking and looked back at him, he was still staring until I was out of the building. A sigh left my mouth. "Now he was creepy, but cute" Evie said while looking back at me to see if I was still with her. "You look off, whats wrong y/n?" We stopped at a bench outside the college, I sat down and went into my thinking position; hunched over, elbows on knees, jaw leaning on my hands and staring into space. "I got the feeling again, the strange one, but this time I know who it was, but it was the same feeling I've been having all week. I'm so confused" Still in the thinking position I rubbed my face with my hands and sat up.
Then it hit me. He was the feeling. He was what was creating the feeling. He was the problem I've been having all week. But I couldn't figure out how he has been doing it all week and I haven't noticed, as he was a very visible, noticeable man; Tall, in a suit, neat but scruffy hair, recognizable face.
"Ohhh, I know where I've seen him before" Evie remembered, "when we went and did that photo shoot in town he was sitting on the benches outside the library for most of the time we were down there. I did notice him glance over at us a couple of times." I looked at Evie gone out. Why didn't she tell me this before? Why didn't she say anything, or that she recognized the man? "And you were going to tell me this when?" I said. "I thought it wasn't a big deal. We always have creeps watching us when we are out doing stuff".
We started heading to mine just in case the man left the college and walked past us, he really did creep me out, and why did I have that feeling again from him? Too many questions and I'm too tired for all of this.
Evie had to catch the bus so she left and I did the last couple of minutes walk back to mine alone, which was creepy with what happened today and the usual creepy, being watched feeling, which luckily I didn't have. Once I got home I told Lexi everything that happened, I described the man; Tall, seems to always wear a suit, seems important, dirty blonde hair, dark eyes. She didn't recognize him. I ended up kind of forgetting about it and started doing my evening/night routine of having dinner, playing some games, watching YouTube, listening to music, having a shower and relaxing. Before the shower however, there was a knock at the door.
