Old friends.

Alissa's P.O.V

I was free to leave the hospital at any time time today so i left as soon as i woke up, joe picked me up an we drove home in silence. I didn't want to talk about anything i didn't want to talk about Finn i didn't want to talk about the hospital an i didn't want to talk about nearly dying so the half hour car ride home was just silence with music playing quietly. When we got home i got out the car an knocked on the door, i was greeted by a massive sweaty hug of Alfie "don't ever scare us like that again Liss" i don't reply i just smile an let go of him and walk inside, i got inside an i saw zoe she jumped of the couch an hugged me very tights she told me never to scare her like that again an i just said i wouldn't smiled an let go of the hug an walked off. I walked into my room an opened my laptop i didnt particularly want to do anything so i just went onto youtube an watched the kardashians, i did this for the whole day an didnt leave my room.

After realising it was 3am i shut down my laptop an go into bed, i tried to sleep but i just couldn't my mind was taking over with thoughts, thoughts about finn thoughts about joe thoughts about my life just everything it was clear i wasn't going to get any sleep tonight so i picked up my phone.

"4 messages an 2 missed calls"

I unlocked my phone to see the messages are off finn i make the stupid choice to read them

" I still love you please don't leave me"
"Alissa don't do this to me we still love each other"
"Don't ignore me. reply now"
" You really do NOT want to do this you little slut"

I ignore the texts and look at the two missed calls one from finn an the other one from jake, i haven't spoke to jake for years hes an old school friend we were pretty close why would he been phoning me? I couldn't be bothered to text finn back so i forced myself to sleep.

Joes P.O.V

Liss stayed in her room all day yesterday so i decided it would cheer here up to bring her breakfast in bed, i walked down to the kitchen and attempt to make pancakes. Surprisingly i didnt burn the kitchen down an made some pretty good pancakes, i put them on a plate with some syrup an a few berries with a cup of orange juice an i walk up to her room. i knock on her door an she lets out a very sleepy "come in" so i walk in an as soon as she sees the pancakes she shoots up i laugh an sit on the corner of her bed, we sit in silence as she scoffed down her food. I feel a vibration underneath my leg an i stand up an lift up the covers an Alissa's phone was ringing, she looks up at me

"Who is it joe?"
I look down at the phone then back up at her an sigh "someone called jake"
She smiled an finished eating "pass it here"
I throw her phone to her and listen to what they're saying
"Hi jake.haha yeah same, im good how are you . Haha yes i Remember that.aw aha i miss you. spin the bottle omg good times ahaha, ill phone you later miss you to."

She hangs up an looks at me
" So who's jake?"
" Just an old friend from school"
"Why was he phoning?"
"Hes going to The Bahamas the same time as all of us he wants to meet up an i agreed"
"Oh aha cant wait to meet him" i fake a smile taker her plate an walk out her room
"Old friend" we all know that means they were in a relationship i can not loose Alissa again to some so called old friend.
