While the family was dealing with the witches and stuff, Hayley and Elijah was taking the kids to the bayou and the twins was not happy about it.
"Why do we have to go?" Joni whines to his dad "Yea dad it's hot and muggy out there." Tony said agreeing with his twin, Elijah just sighed at the twins, they was starting to irritate him, they been complaining since this morning when Elijah told them they was going.
"Because we have a lot of stuff to deal with here and it would be safer for you two and hope if you was in the bayou with Mary and the pack." Elijah said putting on his suit jacket.
The twins looked at each other before signing and going down stairs where Hope was with Hayley.
"It will be fun guys." Hope said happy to be with her older cousins, Joni hated walking around outside in hot weather with bugs flying in his face.
"It will be huh?." Tony asked smiling at hope and hope nodded with a little laugh.
"Yea sure we can play with the bugs." Joni said sitting down in a chair with a huff. "Come on Joni it will be fun, especially now since me and tony not sick anymore." Hope said climbing on Joni and making herself comfortable in his lap.
"Ok hope." Joni said before looking up at Hayley who was watching them with a smile on her face. "Do you love my dad?." Joni suddenly asked and it caught Hayley and tony off guard with his question. Tony smacked him in the head but Joni just glared at him.
"Um.... I-I do, but your dad loves someone else." Hayley said not knowing that Elijah was listening in on the conversation.
"Yea ok." Joni said and before tony could hit him again Elijah walked down the stairs. "Let's go twins." He said and tony went out to the car with hope and Joni not far behind him.
Hayley looked at Elijah for a second but Elijah just ignore her and walked out to the car. Hayley sighed and followed.
In the bayou
"Omg the fucking bugs are attacking me!." Joni said running a little bit with tony and hope laughing at him.
Elijah and Hayley was watching them while walking side by side. "I always pictured a life out here with you and hope and now i picture it with the twins." Hayley said and Elijah looked at her for a second before speaking. "Well I thought that would've been nice but now I think about a life with the twins and Brianna." And Hayley was hurt a little by that, "Elijah what happened?." She asked and he looked back at her confused. "I mean we used to be so close and in love, what changed?." And Elijah scoffed at what she said , "you married Jackson and I met Brianna." Elijah said with a smile as he started to think about Brianna.
He still couldn't believe he just left her that day. 'I'm such an idiot.' He thought to himself. "So we could never happen is what your saying?." Hayley asked getting mad, he can't be over her just like that. "I'm saying I moved on Hayley now why don't we worry about the important stuff first." Elijah said and Hayley rolled her eyes before stomping off ahead of him. Elijah let out a sigh done with everything that had gone on in his life.
"I fucking itch!." Joni said scratching his arms with an irritated look on his face. "Watch your language Joni Antony." Elijah scolded. "It's not that bad, calm down, it feels nice out here." Tony said and Joni pushed him. "Easy for you to say, you belong out here with them, you got the wolf gene I don't." Joni said and Elijah sighed at the twins behavior.
They arrived at Mary's house and hope ran up to the door where Mary stood and gave her a hug. "Hello ma'am." Tony said and Mary looked at him impressed that he had such good manners. "Hello dear." She said with a smile She could tell tony was more like Elijah, she turned to Joni who stood there with a bored look on his face, Tony saw she was looking at his twin and turned to his brother with a glare and hit him in his gut.
"Oww... hi miss I'm Joni, Tony's twin brother." Joni said with a pained expression. 'Damn tony hits hard'. He thought.
"Thanks for looking after them marry." Elijah said and she just nodded at him.
