Mom

Korra picked up the phone.
Dialled the number, and hope for the best.
"Hello?" Answered Senna.
"Mom?" Korra hoped that her parents wouldn't be so hard on her with having a child.
"Korra! Oh how it's been so long! How have you been? And the wedding! Have you made plans yet?" Senna was completely excited for the wedding, knowing that her Korra would finally be with the true love of her life.
"Mom, slow down, everything is fine! The wedding, everything! There's something I have to tell you, but please don't be upset." Korra was worried as hell. "Is everything okay?" Korra cringed. She prayed that Senna wouldn't take this the wrong way. "Mom, me and Asami have a child." There was silence. "Asami's pregnant?!?" Senna screamed. "No mom, we adopted a child from the streets! Asami is not pregnant! Mom, how is that even possible for two women to ha- okay I don't wanna go into details." More silence. "Are you mad mom?" Korra asked worriedly. This was frightening. Oh how Korra wished Asami could take over. "Of course I'm not mad, I'm quiet happy! Your father would be excited even! What's the child's name? Is it a boy or girl? How old is it?" And here comes more questions. "Mom, hold up. It's a girl, and her name is Akemi. She is 4 years old and looks
just like Asami for unknown reasons." "Oh I want to meet her! How about your little family come visit your father and I here in the South? Come introduce her to us!" "Mom slow down, of course we'll visit. I have to go, talk to you soon okay? I'll call when we come visit. Love you." "Love you too." Then Korra hung up. "Well that went well. ASAMI! WE'RE GOING TO THE SOUTH!"
