Puzzles and battle

I walked to the next puzzle around the snowy path, I admired how the snow and ice shined small rainbows of light all around. It was then I came across a small game, I decided to play it. I kicked the ball in the hole. It was very similar to golf and football in a way so it wasn't that hard other than the slippery ice. A yellow flag appears from the hole.

I looked at the hole confused but shrugged it off and kept walking, once again I was met with the skeleton brothers, however this time they seemed to be arguing. I watched them before sans noticed me and pointed at me, this made papyrus look at me and clear his voice. "I AM SORRY HUAMN. MY BROTHER WAS SURPORT TO MAKE THIS PUZZLE BUT ONLY LAID OUT THAT STUPID SHEET!" Papyrus yelled at he pointed to a yellowish paper that laid on the ground with a pen beside it. "It's not a stupid sheet boss! It's a monster kid word search! It's still a puzzle" yelled in protest of this brother. I didn't like them yelling so I walked over and sat down and picked up the sheet, grabbing the pen beside it and began to solve the word search.

Frisk pov

I woke up feeling warm, I sat up and felt movement behind my neck. I let out a small giggle as Flowey appeared in front of me. He jumped down as I looked around the room. I turned back to him and gave him a confused look. "Hey Frisk! I was wondering when you were gonna wake up! (Y/n) brought you here after sans attacked you...she left with sans. My guess is sans is making her solve his brothers puzzles so there is no need to worry!" I nodded my head and looked out the window. I was still worried about my older sister...she was the only family I have...had for a while. I noticed her jacket was wrapped around me. I hugged it closer to me. "What's gonna happen flowey?" I asked, tilting my head to the side. "W-well papyrus...sans brother. He'll make her solve all his puzzles and then challenge her to a battle." My eyes widen and I let out a small gasped. "W-we need to save her flowey! I can't let my big sis get hurt!" I yelled at him. His eyes widened and he shook his leaves like hands at me. "No no you can't! If papyrus sees you then he'll want to battle you to! Then he'll take take you and (y/n) to the king!" Flowey said trying to change my mind. I shook my hand and puffed out my cheeks. "We have to...please Flowey" he signed and rubbed his temples? Or where your temples would be. "Fineee. Once they are done papyrus always let the human rest, eat and whatever. He waits till they are ready. I'm sure (y/n) will come here to check on you before the battle. Once she leaves we will follow her and help her during the battle. Sound good?" I smiled and nodded my head. I didn't mind talking to Flowey as he reminded me on my big sis. Through I know I won't feel comfortable talking with the skeletons around...I shake my head and continue to talk to Flowey while We await for (y/n) to return.

(Y/n)'s pov

I have just finished all of papyrus traps, they weren't all bad and he even seemed a little impressed by how well I was able to solve them. And he seemed to take note on everything comment I had to say about them. I looked over at sans as he walked over to me, hands on his pockets. "As boss just told ya, your gonna have to battle him, but don't worry He won't kill you. My bro...dosent have it in him to harm humans" I nodded and walked with sans around. Between the puzzles I entered a few battles and got a bit of gold. Sans showed me where everything was and then went back home. Once he did I checked out the shop and got a few cinnamon buns. Sans told me if I ate food it would bring up my HP. This place was strange, it acted very much like a video game. Once I was done I went back to sans house and went to his room. Opening the door I saw Frisk and Flowey talking before they looked up at me. I ran over and took them both in a hug and kissed the top of their heads. "Oh I was so worried about you two! Are you okay? Feeling better? Do you have a cold?" I asked as I brushed the hair away from Frisks face. They only giggles and pushes my hands off.

Frisk said using sign language, I was a little confused as to why they were using sign language til I heard a cough behind me. I looked back and saw sans leaning against the door. "Come on dollface. Let's not keep the boss waiting." I nodded my head and kissed Frisks head once more and told them I needed to do something and that I'd be back. I left with sans leading the way. He stopped and pointed forward. "I need to stay hidden. Just walk forward and you'll be met with papyrus soon enough." I nodded and walked through the foggy path. Soon seeing the outline of papyrus figures as the fog cleared up. It was time to fight papyrus and I'm not gonna lie I was a little scared and disappointed that I had to.

Frisk's pov

After (y/n) left me and flowey were carful to follow. When we got there my eyes widen. A tall and scary skeleton was throwing red and whine bones toward my big sister! She seemed to be dodging very well. It was strange...they took turned and when it was (y/n)'s four orange boxes came up in front of her...

FIGHT ACT ITEM MERCY

I watched in awe as (y/n) pressed the MERCY button. I smiled at this as I didn't wanna see my big sis fight anyone. The skeleton seemed shocked by this but kept fighting. It was scary to watch and I hated seeing her get hit by attacks. I looked above her head and saw a health bar. 2 HP!? I looked over where the skeleton was and he was preparing another attack! I couldn't take it so I ran in front of (y/n) and took the hits....

(Y/n)'s pov

Fighting papyrus was tough but I had sans helping me, he would use his magic to help lift me over some of the bones. I was super thankful. Without him I don't think I'd be able to make it. Through I could tell he didn't like the idea of me sparing his brother every other turn. The battle has been doing on for a while now and I'm out of health items and at 2HP! I spared papyrus once again and he prepared another attack, I got ready when suddenly I see...FRISK!? they ran in front of me and I saw a bone flying toward them. I reacted fast and shielded Frisk. Holding them close to me as I waited for the impact...but I felt nothing. I looked back and saw papyrus with a shocked expression. He pulled back his attack and walked today's us.
