I groaned in my sleep flipping over trying to block out the calls again. This has been happening for months after I moved to Ginger Island something keeps calling me at night.
It's a voice, it sings beautifully every time almost in enchanting I find my unconsious body moving out of the house and towards the sea.
The singing somehow hipnotizes me I forget everything and just leave. I feel water soaking my pajamas. As I moved deeper and deeper where the voice was more promeninet.
I woke up by the salt water that went up my nose I started to vigirously cough as I felt my legs cramp I struggled to stay on top of the water but my other leg cramped.
I wanted to scream but it felt like something is blocking my throat making my mouth stay shut.
I cried tears of sadness is this how am gonna go? Leave without saying bye to my parents.
I finally let go as my body sank and my vision blackened as I felt nothing.
-
Shit! I swam higher and higher to the surface trying to to reach the body that was sinking slowly like a flower dancing in the wind.
I beat my tail faster and faster against the water speeding up once I got there I grabbed her fairy like face in my scaly hands and attached my lips to hers pushing air in her body.
I got carried away by the softness of her lips causing my body to sink down a bit.
I snapped out of it bringing her body to the surface she cough out water before falling back unconcious I swam closer to shore dragging my belly over the sand placing her a good distance away from the tide.
I guess my singing was a little to strong tonight I played with ends of her hair kissing it and twirling around my sharp yet scaly fingers.
A grin crawled up my face as I laid a kiss on her forehead a sound of a conch's horn being blowed signalling that I must return to the palace.
The child like grin that was on my face disappeared in a flash I kissed her forehead once again. Before dragging my body back into the waters.
