Eunee

"Eunee!" I groaned sitting up on the sand as I clutched my head I looked to my right seeing Lupe my friend. She threw my uniform at me as my eyes widened like saucers.

Oh god! I'm late I rush into the beaches bathroom in a hurry to change my clothes I rushed out with my hair tied up. "Eunee why did you sleep at the beach?" Lupe asked dragging me to the other side of the beach where the marine station was.

"I don't know?" I shrugged my shoulders, scanning my ID I enter the large building. "Miss Cha late again I see" my superviser chuckled marking a late mark beside my name on the chart.

I felt my soul get crushed , I just move to ginger island three months ago and I have the highest late marks ever.

"You need to wake up early if you want to work here" Lupe patted my back before heading to her department she's one of the emergency answers.

She answer calls for help and alert us by pressing a button.

I sigh walking to my office I sat down looking at a picture of my mother she dressed up as a mermaid for me on halloween because I went as a pirate.

I smiled caressing her face that was smiling but my moment was cut short when the emergency button was pressed. I got up and headed to the mini hospital.

"Jimin why were you to the surface?" My father asked firmly I smile "I was picking shells to take to mom's murial" I answer back as sincerely as could be.

What's a little white lie gonna hurt someone. I can't just tell him I went to the surface to save my love. Especially since my father hates humans to the core.

My father looked into my eyes and huffed "Just don't be seen by any humans" I nod although i'm twenty my dad treats me like a little guppie who needs to be protected.

"Anyway your friends are in the  living room" I watched as my father swam away before leaving. I scoffed why would I waste my time on that old hag they call mother.

"Jimin how's it been?" Taehyung swam up to me hugging me "I'm good" I state moving to the couch.

"Jimin you smell like human, did you come in contact with that girl you like?" Jin hyung asked sniffing me.

"I did" I blurt out "come on Jimin can you imagine what would happen if you were to get caught" Jin scolded me I pouteď

"It's not fair Taehyung can go tote surface as a human when wants" Taehyung began bragging about who he was special.

I got bored and opened a hidden mirror watching what Eunee was doing currently she was bandaging a turtle.

I sighed dreamily unconsicously floating upwards "Jimin what's wrong?" Instanly hid the mirror as I swam down. "I'm tired" I yawned leaving the room.

Someday we will see each other Eunee above the surface.
