A Spectacular Web Of Justice

Auld Acquaintance

"We have reasons to feel proud of yesterday's victories" Said Aqualad as the team soon arrived to be debriefed by Batman and Red Tornado. "But we still don't know who the mole is."

"Yeah, well at least we now know that none of us are the mole." Spider-Man said eagerly as he had his right hand intertwined with Zatanna's.

"That's correct Spider-Man" Said Batman. "The mole was Red Arrow."

Everyone was shocked. "Roy?" Robin asked surprised.

"No way!" Wally said.

"What!?" Spider-Man asked.

"Batman, that cannot be" Aqualad said calmly. "He was Green Arrow's protege. We have all known him for years."

"Unfortunately, the Roy Harper we have known for the last 3 years is another Cadmus clone." Replied Red Tornado. "He is a fugitive, now armed and dangerous.

"If you guys hadn't rescued me from Cadmus..." Superboy said.

"W-What happened to the real Roy?" Robin asked anxiously. 

"We don't know." Batman said. "He isn't in Cadmus, we will have to accept the possibility that the real Roy Harper...is dead."

Everyone was devastated while also wondering how Green Arrow was taking in all of this information.

"The League will find him."

"I'm needed on the Watchtower, Tornado stay with the kids." Batman said as he left. Peter was confused. 'Batman never calls us that' Peter thought.

However, Roy was the team's friend so they were going to get to them first. Suddenly Tornado shut down.

"What's wrong with him?" Spidey asked.

"Guys, I'm sensing a mystical a low-level mystic force at play." Zatanna said. "I don't know if it caused his shutdown, but now that I think about it, I was getting the same buzz off Batman."

"She's right" Spider-Man added. "Batman called us 'kids', he never does that."

"Look" Wally said pulling something out of Tornado's hand. "One of those Bio-Tech chips we confiscated off of Cheshire."

"Something is not right" Aqualad said suspiciously. "Robin, Kid, Zatanna, Spider-Man, Rocket see if you can get Tornado back online. The rest of you are with me to find Roy... Red Arrow."

"So Tornado built this android... to party?" Rocket asked.

"Yes and no" Spidey replied. "It's a long story."

Recognized Black Canary 1-3

Black Canary arrived but Spider-Man's spider sense stared tingling.

"Why are you guys downloading his consciousness into a new body?" Canary demanded.

"Uh oh. Spidey said cautiously. Tornado's download ended quicker than they thought.

"Team get out of the cave!" Tornado yelled as Canary launched her sonic scream. Robin was able to knock Canary unconscious.

"Why did Canary attack us?" Zatanna asked.

"She is the least of our problems. We must leave the cave."

They quickly boarded the Super Cycle and the took off. 

"We must find the others." Said Tornado.

"Right, just one question, WHY IS THE JUSTICE LEAGUE AFTER US!?"

Tornado explained that the entire League is being mind controlled by Vandal Savage. Soon everyone regrouped at the Watchtower. They had reprogrammed the Bio Chips.

Kid Flash took out Plastic Man. Robin and Superboy took out Hawk Man. Zatanna, Spider-Man and Miss Martian took out Atom. Only 2 members left.

Soon Spidey, Robin and Superboy were in fist fight with Batman and Superman. Spidey and Robin were in a fist fight with the Dark Knight. But they were losing. Spider-Man sling shot himself into Batman injecting him with the Bio Chip.

Spider-Man quickly restrained Superman with his webs while took out a case of kryptonite temporarily weakening him along with Superboy.

"Kryptonite" Began Superboy. "It hurts."

"Which is why Batman keeps it locked up in the Batcave." Robin said as he and Spider-Man helped him up. "Well mostly penetrable."

"Penetrable enough I hope." Spider-Man added as the three laughed.

The team regrouped to check on Roy, Canary and Tornado.

"Congratulations team" Tornado commended. "You have won the day."

"Happy New Year Justice League" 

"This wasn't how I wanted to spend New Year's Eve with you" Spider-Man said as he wrapped his arms around Zatanna. "But I'll make it up to you."

Zatanna just pulled his mask up to his nose. "You can start now." She said before kissing on the lips wrapping her arms around his neck.

Wally kissed Artemis, Superboy kisses Miss Martian, Rocket kissed Aqualad, and Robin... well he had no one to kiss but he had a girlfriend back on Earth.

Although the day was saved there were still some unanswered questions. Questions that weren't answered for years to come.
