Ever since I could remember, my father barely had a presence in my life. He missed my first word, steps, crawling.... you know where I'm getting to but to be honest it broke my heart. I was already picked on for being weird and short then my classmates found out I had no father in my life which made it worst. Now here I am 25 and traveling with my father and stepmother in misery.
"Madelyn are you alright." My father asked as I sat in his office with his wife.
"Yes u-um I'm going to walk a-around sir." I stutter.
My father let out a sigh while Stephanie gave me a concerned look. "Just be careful." My father replied. I nodded leaving the office.
This place was packed backstage as superstars, divas, and workers were getting ready for the show tonight. I walked to catering and grabbed a plate full of chicken fingers and French fries. As usual, I sat at the far end and quietly ate my food. A shadow hovered as a large hand stole a French fry from my plate.
"H-Hey you d-din't ask sir." I said as my stuttering got worst from being scared.
"It looked good but I'm sorry. Why is a beautiful girl like you sitting all by herself." The tall man asked. I looked up to lay eyes on the handsome Roman Reigns. He is like a sex god with those grey eyes, huge muscles, tribal sleeve tattoo, and that aggressive attitude in the ring is just so sexy.
"I don't re-eally do well around peop-ple due to my speech." I answered looking at my lap.
"Well baby girl if they can't accept you because of that I will superman punch them." He joked causing a chuckle to slip from my lips. "See there, a beautiful laugh. What's your name."He asked sitting down.
"My name is Madelyn Levesque." I said.
"Beautiful name for a beautiful girl. My name is Leati Anoa'i but you can call me Joe." Joe replied with a handsome smile.
"It's really nice t-to meet you." I said returning a smile.
"I'm glad to meet a beautiful lady as yourself tonight. I was wondering tomorrow if you would like to go on a date." Joe asked rubbing the back of his neck.
"I would be honored to go on a date with you Joe." I answered smiling wide. Joe smiled doing a fist pump in the air making me laugh loudly. We exchanged phone numbers and hugged before going our separate ways.
