I walked to the streets without anyone noticing with my hoodie. I did this every time. I'm used to it. I was a nobody in front of those people. I was born in this world with no parents. No family. No one.
I smiled, looking at those cool kids playing with their skateboards. Heh. They're the lucky ones.
Then I continued my walk to Mrs Eru's restaurant. It was the only place I know to go. I was really thankful I ever met Mrs Eru because she gave me a room and food. I didn't die of hunger if it's not because of her. For me, she was the best person I've ever met before. At least I didn't live alone.
"Mrs Eru!" I smiled, opening the restaurant door. Mrs Eru was right there, wiping the tables and cleaning up.
"Aiko! You're finally here! I've got something for you!" Mrs Eru said happily.
"What is it?"
"Oh, you'll see! Come here, follow me to your room, this might be the best surprise you've ever had in your life!" she said, asking me to follow her.
At my room upstairs, there seems nothing special. Just old pink striped wallpaper and a bed.
"I don't see anything ... what is it?" I asked.
"It's this!" she said happily, giving me a piece of white flyer.

Cooking contest? I raised my eyebrows. Maybe I should do it ... or ...
"Do you want to do it, Dear? It's your choice!" Mrs Eru smiled.
"Okay! I will!" I smiled back.
"Well, then, the contest'll be held not long after this day ... get ready! And I'll make you tea for your good night's sleep!" Mrs Eru walked out of my room.
W-Well ... Mrs Eru did say that I'm good at cooking ... but I don't feel like it. I feel like ... there's something else ...
"I-I'll really do it now!" I made a decision.
