Chapter 12: The Teacher

I was drifting in the water, in the deep ocean. I opened my eyes and couldn't see, it was just a blur... is this how dying feels like? My body felt numb, and it hurt everywhere.

'Someone....help'

As I closed my eyes waiting for death to take me.

I felt like I was still breathing, and I felt warm, as I opened my eyes it was the sky and I was lying down on grass...

As I sat up, it looked like....Tenrou Island?!?

They were holding hands, in a giant circle. "Hey! I'm okay everyone! Gray!" But neither of them bothered to look up, "How come they can't hear me?" I mumbled

"Because they can't see you..." a voice said, that made me jump. She had short hair, brown eyes, and a jacket.

"Who are you?"

She smiled at me, "You'll find out soon, now take my hand..."

She didn't give me time to answer as she took my hand. Suddenly a glow blinded my eyes, and I couldn't tell what was happening. Once I regained my sight, we were in a snowy village, but I couldn't tell what village.

"Look over there..." she pointed out two kids, one with white hair and a smile on his face. The other with blue raven hair, and had his hands in his pocket trying to look bad.

"Who are they?" I asked

"Take a closer look, remember they can't see you..."

We walked closer to them and I soon recognized who it was, "Is that Lyon...and Gray?" She nodded and I sort of squeal a bit, "They look so adorable!" She hushed me and told me to watch.

He said something insulting about a witch lady, and tried to look bad and harsh.

Those words felt insulting to whoever this 'ice witch', suddenly a familiar face punched his head making a big throb. "Keep talking that way about me and your dead meat kid"

They began walking to their house as the spirit Ur stood beside me.

"That was you..." I stated

"Yes, thats right..."

"So your his master..."

"Correct"

"So why are you showing me this Ur?"

"I will tell you soon..." she smiled and soon the bright glow returned blinding me again. We were standing on a rubble land that had a demolished city, where a giant monster was destroying the rest.

"W-What's going on?"

"Deliora was attacking Brago, Gray tried to defeat but he was too strong.."

We both watched to see what happened, Lyon and Gray passed out as Ur used her Ice Make Magic, the fight was unimaginable....

She froze Lyon, and performed a spell; Ice Shell

"I'm begging you! Please don't do this! I promise I'll do whatever you tell me to from now on!" Gray begged
"There's no reason to be sad, I'll live on, please don't cry. I may not be with but I will protect you from Deliora. Be strong, make me proud..."

"Ur!" His tears streaming and he screamed in agony.
"I freed you from the darkness Gray, I sealed it away forever..."

Deliora was trapped in the ice shell, as the teacher sacrifice herself to defend both of her students.

As I glanced at Ur, she gestured me to follow her. I did and the glow came back, once I regained my sight there was a grassfield with the color of gold. She crossed her arms and her short hair blowing from the wind,

"You showed me this because Gray was corrupted by darkness, so the only way to do that was for you to sacrfice yourself?"

"Your getting there (Y/N), I wanted to help him get rid of it, and I did whatever it takes for him to smile again, and I want to ask you to promise me you'll do that for him..."

Her advice was very helpful, I looked up and wanted to thank her but she vanished.

I woke up in the sea and swam up to the top, there was a boat that had men there. I waved my arms and they came to help me, I cupped the water in my hands and letting it run through my fingers

"Thank you so much..." I smiled at the water....
