Her second letter arrives a week and a half after her first and opening it effectively reminds me I never replied to her first. My parents had entered the room and in the craziness of finding another college letter, I completely forgot to reply.
Staring down at her second later I'm torn between laughter and sadness. She seems so sad and yet sarcastic about it. I want to reply to her. Tell her if she hates guys like Timothy Brown so much she should try dating someone more interesting, maybe a girl. I laugh at that.
