Beep Beep Beep Beep. I grab my phone and slide the alarm off, checking the time as I pull it close. "It's already eleven?" I grumble while cracking my neck. I fell asleep at my desk while working on my project again. I have a class at two so I might as well get ready...

I got up from my chair wobbling my way to my bathroom. I look in the mirror, at the bags under my eyes, the mess of my hair. I wash my face before brushing my hair back to its state. I grab some clothes from my dresser, a crop-top and shorts will suffice for today.

I feel confident when I showing my stomach. It feels... Freeing. People tend to look at me, I mean my hair is blue and I always show some skin, no wonder.

I pack my bag before checking off my list. "Cell phone, wallet, keys. Ok!" Wow, this is like the first time I hadn't misplaced something. I leave my room firmly closing the door behind me. "Noon Lapis, going to school?" I jumped out of my skin. "Hey, Garnet..." I sighed. "No, not yet I have about an hour before I need to leave, but I'm going to go get lunch." I walk down the stairs. "Bye Lapis!" Steven yelled from the kitchen. I look back while opening the front door. "Bye Steven!" I chuckled. I step out and "Hey I'm-" I stepped on something. Shit! They stumbled backward, I tried to grab them but they pulled me with them.

"My stars are you... ok..." I looked at the guy under me. "Woah..." He had freckles and glasses that were un-tinting due to the shade of the porch roof. I got a look at his eyes, they were as green as... "Woah..."

"Lapis." "Ekk!" I jumped, it was Garnet. "I see you met our new housemate." She was smirking, I think it was how red my face was. I push myself upwards before reaching out an arm to the guy on the floor. His hand was cold and his nails were short and painted black.

He dusts off his hoodie and picks up his headphones. "Let's try this again... Hey, I'm Peridot and I'm you're new housemate." This wasn't a guy... She holds out her hand, I reach out mine and shake. "I'm uh... Lapis"
