                                Feb. 24th

You quickly move your mouse to the right on your desk, hovering over the words "Purchase Tickets" on your laptop screen. You can feel the excitement bubbling inside of you as you lightly pound your finger down to click the highlighted square. Your best friend Tiffany's birthday was tomorrow, and you knew you had just got her the perfect gift. Lately she's been obsessed with this K-Pop group called Seventeen, she's showed them to you about a hundred times, and you are really starting to enjoy them as well. She's always talking about how she's dying to see them in concert and how they rarely come to America, but you also know she doesn't have the money right now to afford to go. So you, being the best friend you are, just bought two tickets to one of their shows this June. They are online tickets, but you click on the confirmation email you just received to view them. You decide to print them out, just so you have something physical to give to your best friend the next day. You stand up from your chair, walk over to your printer, and grab some scissors. You cut the tickets out of the paper to be more aesthetically pleasing, and grab a small cardboard box. Ruffling up some tissue paper, you place the two tickets inside. You wrap it in light pink wrapping paper (Tiffany's favorite color) that you picked up earlier that evening at Michael's. You place the small box into a cute gift bag, along with some candy that you know Tiffany loves. Satisfied with your work, you place the gift bag on the table next to the front door of your small apartment. You look up to see that the digital clock on the wall above your couch reads 12:47am. You yawn, covering your mouth with your hand, and decide you better go to sleep soon. You flip the light switch to the living area off, lock your door and saunter into your room to go to bed.

You wake up to the sound of your alarm ringing at 10am. Tiffany and you were the kind of friends where you didn't really need any other friends to keep you satisfied. Did you have other friends? Of course. But for her birthday Tiffany just wanted to hang out with you and go to lunch. You tiredly pull the sheets off your body and sit up, putting your bare feet onto the cold, hardwood floor of your bedroom. A shiver rolls up your spine at the cold touch. You take a quick shower, and wrap yourself in a towel. You stand in front of your closet, trying to pick out what to wear. Since it was only February, it was still a little chilly in LA. You put on a pair of darkwash jeans, a cute brown sweater and a pair of brown chelsea boots. You leave your hair natural, and accessorize with a gold necklace and some cute matching earrings. You put on some makeup, but not very much since you're just seeing Tiffany. You grab your favorite Louis Vuitton purse, as well as the gift bag, and head out the door.

Tiffany wanted to eat lunch at a super cute restaurant called Faith and Flower, so you set the directions in your phone. You get there at 11:56am, just four minutes early. You walk inside to see Tiffany already sitting at a table near a window. Surprising, since she is almost always late. "She must be excited for her birthday", you thought to yourself smiling at her. She smiles back as she sees you, and brings up her hand to wave. Her shoulder length blonde hair is curled, and she is wearing a white turtleneck over a black pleated skirt. That, however, is not surprising since turtlenecks are Tiffany's absolute favorite type of apparel.

"Y/n!", she yells to you, standing up to give you a hug. You hug her back while jokingly saying, "Wow you're here early". She giggles. "Yeah, I wanted to be early for once. I figured my 21st birthday would be a good start.", she states while shrugging her shoulders. You both sit down across from each other. She immediately spots the gift bag you're holding. Grinning she says, "Heyyyy what's thatttt?!". "Oh nothing", you respond smirking, "probably just the greatest birthday gift there ever was." "Oh I'll be the judge of that!", she yells playfully while reaching out to snatch the bag. "Okayyy", you laugh and let her grab it. She reaches her hand in excitedly and pulls out some tissue paper. First she grabs the candy. "Ah! Sweet tart ropes!! You know me so well!", she says while chef's kissing the candy. You smile, eagerly waiting for her to open the real gift. She sticks her hand back in and grabs the wrapped box. She happily destroys the beautiful pink wrapping paper you wrapped around it. "Oh what's this?", she says holding up the ticket shaped pieces of paper. You giggle at her as you wait for what she's reading to sink in. After a moment she looks at you in complete and utter shock. Her mouth is open, and she looks like she's about to cry. "No way," she says putting her hand over her mouth, "NO WAY! NO WAY! You're joking right?". "No, I am not," you respond completely cheesing at this point from your exhilaration. "Y/N!", she says beginning to cry happy tears, "I love you so much! What would I do without you?! This can't be real!". "Oh it's real! I'm glad you like it. I know it's in June so it's a little ways away but that's the closest concert to us and we will have plenty of time to get our outfits readyyy!", you wink at her. "Oh my word.", she says suddenly getting serious. "What?", you look at her nervously wondering if something is wrong. "My outfit has to be perfect!", she shouts, "I'm going to see WOOZI IN REAL LIFE!"
