                              Mingyu's POV

I catch up to Woozi on the stage and we both begin to slowly jog out to the the van where the other members are waiting. "That girl was really nice, and she was so cute," I think to myself. I couldn't help but watch her during the show. It made me feel good that she knew all the words to our songs, like what I was doing meant something. When I looked at her during Smile Flower I could see the tears streaming down her cheeks. I love the way music moves people. I didn't expect to ever see her again, like what happens at most of our concerts. I genuinely wish I could meet and thank all of our fans for what they do for us, so I was really glad to see her in the arena.

"Who were those girls?", Woozi asks interrupting my thought. "They were fans, one had left her lightstick behind. They were in the front row during the concert, did you not see them?", I say raising an eyebrow. "No I did. Isn't the blonde one...you know? The one who-", he says grabbing the back of his neck. I start to laugh, "Yeah it is." "Well when I asked who they were I didn't mean literally, obviously they were fans. But who were they to you? Why were you talking to them so long?", he said slowing his jog into a walk. "Well I didn't really talk to the blonde girl, she got there a minute before you did. But I talked to the other girl a lot. She caught my eye during the concert and I wanted to make sure she enjoyed the show. Plus she's a local, and I asked her to show me around LA tomorrow on our off day," I say matching his pace. He looks at me sternly like I'm in trouble, which I knew he would do. Woozi is fun and can be a real goofball, but most of the time he is very serious. "You know management won't like that, and if they even allow it you'll have to have security with you." "I know," I say sighing, "I want to be safe, but it's so annoying. I just wish I could do the things that I want to when I want to. If I want to go out with a girl I meet I should be allowed to." "I know," Woozi says sympathetically, "I wish that too. But we aren't normal people. In America we have less of a chance to get spotted and bombarded, but there are still millions of fans here. And you're Kim Mingyu! You're probably the most popular guy in our group! Plus you don't know this girl, we just don't want anything bad to happen to you." I roll my eyes. I know he's right, but it still sucks. "But if they do let you go," Woozi says giving me a look, "I want to come... and you should ask if the other girl can come too. Ya know..so I don't have to third wheel with you and your new girlfriend." I hit him and we both laugh. "She is not my girlfriend!", I yell. I know," he says grinning, giving me a hard time. I was surprised Woozi wanted to go though, he normally takes his days off to relax and stay in.

We finally reach the back exit and walk up to the van. A staff member opens the car door, and as soon as the other members see me they begin to bicker. What the heck?!", Jun shouts from the back of the car, "What took so long?". "Mingyu was talking to some ladies," Woozi says raising his eyebrows. "They were just fans, I wanted to make sure they had a good time," I say retaliating. Jeonghan rolls his eyes and lays his head back on the head rest of his seat. Woozi and I sit down and I swing the van door shut. The inside is dark, and I look out the window into the lights of the city. I love traveling, and LA is very beautiful. I grab my phone out of my pocket and open it. It is still pulled up to the new contact. "Y/n (LA Girl)". I smile. Woozi laughs to my left, and I look up to see him watching me. "You're a dork," he says getting comfortable, "You can't fall in love with fans. You're not even allowed to date people." "I'm not falling in love with anyone, it's just nice to meet new people," I huff at him, "Then I don't have to see your dumbass all the time." He chuckles and closes his eyes to try and sleep. I look back down at my bright phone screen in the darkness. I read the name a few more times. Now I have to decide. Should I text her tonight, or tomorrow morning?
