"We're done. Get out of my house." The younger girl said with an angry expression.

"You're overreacting." Hailee rolled her eyes half-heartedly.

"You CHEATED!"

Hailee and Maia looked at one another for a second, a fiery glint in their eyes.

"It's not my fault that you are a sore loser." Hailee shrugged her shoulders, a smirk appearing on her face, "I won at Mario Kart, fair and square!" And then flips her hair to the side.

Maia opened and closed her mouth a couple of times, without saying a single word. Instead she huffed a breath and sat on the couch with her arms crossed and a scowl on her face.

"Oh cmon, don't make that cute face. I won, you lost. Simple as that." Hailee sat beside her girlfriend, put her right arm around her shoulders, pulling her into her body making Maia drop her head on her shoulder.

"I was going to win if you didn't throw that shell at me." Maia continued to pout, but was starting to feel her resolution to be mad at her girlfriend crumbling down.

"Is there some kind of rule about not throwing shells at the leader of the group, when you are in the second place, 3 seconds before crossing the finish line?" Sarcasm was evident into Hailee's tone, you could actually feel the smirk into her voice.

"Shut up." Maia grumbled and started to pull away from Hailee, but her girlfriend stopped her by hugging her tightly and put her fingers into her hair, massaging her scalp.

"Sore loser." Hailee snickered when Maia slapped her stomach lightly.

Maia grumbled again, nuzzling her face into her neck, "cheater."

Hailee's giggle melted Maia's heart, that angelic sound released butterflies into her stomach. They stayed like that, not saying anything else.

When Hailee's mouth pressed on her forehead, kissing her lightly, she kissed on her neck, pecking it tenderly. That made Hailee gasp and shudder and Maia smirked at her reaction. She lifted her head when she felt her girlfriend's fingers pulling on her hair, meeting that breathtaking brown eyes with something in them that Maia recognized as determination and something else she couldn't put a finger on.

Without notice Hailee leaned forward and captured the shorter girl's lips in a sweet kiss. It was slow, languid, just the two of them savoring the other's presence. She pulled away and rested her forehead on her girlfriend's, their noses bumping together.

"I'm gonna miss you so much." She breathed on her girlfriend's lips.

"I'm gonna miss you too. So, so much."

And they kissed again, their lips danced together in a passionate kiss, speeding up fastly. Hailee's hand was still into her hair and pulled lightly on them, making Maia gasp and granting her tongue the access it needed. Their tongues met and both of them sighed into the kiss.

Maia's hands settled on Hailee's hips, grasping them tightly, but quickly one of them sneaked behind, running up and down her girlfriend's back.

They pecked their lips one last time before pulling away when air was necessary, but Hailee's lips had other plans, not wanting to get away from Maia for too long. She trailed her lips to her inviting neck, kissing the skin lightly, Maia tilting her head to give her more access sighing happily. She applied more pressure on her pulse point, nipping it and then soothing the bite with her tongue, licking softly. She felt Maia shifting imperceptibly and a smirk formed on her lips. She trailed her kisses up again and kissed her, more passionately, her left hand treading into her hair pulling them lightly, Maia interrupting the kiss with a whine. She put her hand on her girlfriend's shoulder and pushed her softly, making her lay down on the couch, following her soon after, straddling her hips.
