The blanket darkness had just come over Preston's. The suffocating silence taunting the halls leaving a terrifying supernatural seeming energy looming.

He had just had a chat outside with Sebastian who had pulled up in a peculiar looking outfit, which Ciel absolutely called him on.

Ciel forced himself to straighten his back somehow even more, trying to make himself fade somehow into the illuminated darkness.

The boy forces himself to relax, you can't get anything done like this. He repeated as the footsteps seemed to get closer to him. Resulting in Ciel bunching himself up, shrugging his shoulders into himself as the mysterious stranger passes him.
All of him is screaming to follow them and end this who dun it? Missing mystery so he can leave. But the logical side of his brain is preaching something utterly diffrent.
He looks back at the now dark room in wonder, before going on with his mission of returning back to the dorms before he's caught.

"I-i snuck nowhere, i was looking for the library to return a book." Ciel curses himself under his breath the library? Really?. Even finnian could come up with a better excuse.
