Nerd notes

chapter 1

Ever felt that you don't belong? That you just don't fit in? Well now you know how I feel. The only explanation is that I'm a geek or a 'nerd' as some people call me. It's not my fault that I know 'Honey is the only food that doesn't spoil' or that 'the first food eaten by a US astronaut in outer space was applesauce!' I just use the internet a lot for sensible uses, it's not a bad thing!

Anyway, my school ranks are all a stars except for P.E and I am in the top set for every lesson except P.E. OH SCREW P.E!! My best friend is Madeline and we've been friends since nursery, but she has changed. she's gone all girly and stroppy like my bigger sister Tasha. Madeline is in the chearleader group and she has a REALLY handsome boyfriend Brad, shes mainly with him so I hang out with Adam ( Brads mate).

Adam is like my back-up bestie, I get along with him so well because he is a geek too, so we meet up after school and catch up on homework. Did you know that the loudest land creature is a howler monkey? I found that out when I was doing my science homework.

Stroppy. Girly. A pain. Those words describe my sister. I try so hard to get along with her but she makes it so difficult! I borrow her brush, she breaks my calculator. I wear her sunglasses, she crushes my glasses. I work out sums out loud, she takes the mickey out of my voice. She just doesn't understand I stutter when I speak!

One morning, I went into school and I bumped into some moody boy, he just put his middle finger up and shuffled away. I don't understand why people use their fingers to swear, fingers were made for typing, writing and working out sums. As for my nails, I don't do anything to them, I just let them roam free.

I never put any nail varnish on my nails because I am allergic to the smell, even if I wasn't, I would only ever put clear nail varnish on. I never wear makeup, I want to be a natural beauty. Right now I am a natural dot to dot pad, I'm covered in spots and blackheads, I just can't get rid of them! Once, my little sister, rosie, drew lines on my head to try and make a picture. I was furious because I couldn't get it off and I skipped a day of school to try and scrub it off, I managed after 5 hours of trying.
