The weekend went by rapidly and monday had began. I met Madeline at the bus stop and again she was shocked. But this time, she lost colour in her face and looked like she was about to faint. "What have they done to you?!" she screamed. I just shrugged, I dont understand why Maddie is so distressed, shes probably just jealous that I'm the prettier one now. "Kate, I dont think this is a good idea. They could hurt you like they do to many other students." Madeline sounded very concerned. "Maddie, this is my only chance to popularity. People like me never get this opportunity. If you're not going to support me then youre not a true friend" I replied. " Well true friends dont ditch eachother for popularity." "Whatever" I murmered. "Oh God! Now youre sounding like them too!"
As I approached the school gates, everyone was curiously glaring at me; it was quite disturbing. The football team was wolf whistling at me, is that a compliment? I strutted into the girls bathroom where I re- applied my 'this seasons' channel lipgloss. I went into the cubicle just before the plastics entered the bathroom. "Do you actually like Kaitlyn? me and Bella don't" Anna whispered. "Of course not, I'm not stupid" Annabella replied. "Then why did we take her shopping? We don't even like her!" Bella mentioned. "Obviously because if we didnt, we would be seen with a freak and it would ruin our reputation. Who else do we have to copy homework from?"
I stayed in the cubicle until they went out of the bathroom. A tear rolled down my cheek. Stop, Kaitlyn! give them what they want, give them their 'homework.'
