I was greeted my the revolving doors of the airport. A smile creeped onto my face and I felt giddy and excited. I leaped into the airport and the smells of built in bakeries lingered in my nose. I sighed in happiness. I was finally leaving.
I tugged my little black suitcase to where a guy was holding the sign "Time Share Patrons". I felt bubbly as I sauntered to the waiting area where the other Time Share investors sat.
"Hi I am Stefanie," I said to the lady next to me. She eyed me and then clutched her dark purple bag and turned her attention to her phone. I rolled my eyes and slumped into my seat. Great Stephanie you can't even make friends with airport people.
I honestly wanted to move cities but every time I asked my parents it was always an obvious No!
"Time Share Jet is boarding now."
I leaped from my seat with excitement glistening in my eyes. I practically ran onto the jet an jumped into me seat. It was fine leather. I live in Sacramento so the flight wouldn't be so long.
I fell asleep easily as I didn't sleep a wink last night. I woke up 10 hours later and I knew something was wrong. Flights to Hawaii NEVER takes this long.
I walked to the Cockpit and listened to the conversation.
"There are little kids on this flight. I can't."
"Jeremy you must, we won't get our pay cuts if you don't!"
"Devan, it is wrong!"
"It might be wrong but it pays!"
I walked back to me seat scared what was going to happen?
We land some time after the conversation. The lady that issued our time shares came and said.
"Welcome to Cuba where you will work as slaves."
Her eyes were like snakes and then everyone's voice was louder before she injected us with chips, obedience chips.
