As expected the ceremony took a long amount of time, from the opening speech which I was glad I missed, to the ceremonial ordinance it was all so stressful. Then finally the time came the crowning, well there isn't any actual crown it's just the name that we use when we are passing powers down it's a ceremony that requires you to say the Alphas oath to the pack, which I spent some of my days learning for this moment and then the former alpha would come and say the Alphas transrites to the pack and then everything was done so will the former beta do to the soon to be beta and the former gamma soon to be gamma and the Luna the soon to be Luna.
The person who does this is called Novox they are like monks but for werewolves and do not belong to any pack and live in an isolated place just for them and only come out on special occasions.
Then when it reached the time for the transrites the Novox spoke.
" May the future alphas, betas, gamma and Luna come to the stage and say their rights"
I was the first up.
" I Christopher Chris Monan, pledge to serve and honor the pack with everything within my power, to be loyal and ready to listen, to serve as a good example to others. As an alpha I promise to bring prosperity and joy to this pack, I promise not to disgrace my ancestors and my pack and to lead us to victory, power, might and higher places as my honorable ancestors have done. Moving the pack forward and remaining in our status as the strongest and most powerful pack and also to raise pups for the future generation to come. And finally I promise the entire pack members an heir to take over from me for the future generation."
" Please may the finer alpha please say his transrites"
" I Lucas Mylo Monan, have heard the oath of the alpha from my son and I'm therefore satisfied and with this I bestie upon him the Alpha right and I humbly step down as requested by traditions to allow him to take his place and rule"
The Novox spoke again.
" May the future beta say his oath"
" I Minimums Mark Vinno, pledge to help the alpha in all areas possible, to see and take responsibility where the alpha may not be able to reach and to ensure the safety and protection of the pack ,working alongside the alpha and the gamma and to not disgrace our honorable ancestors"
" And please may the former beta say his transrites"
" I Ian Ivan Simmons, have heard the oath of the beta and I'm therefore satisfied and humbly step down and hand over all the beta powers to him"
" Second to the last, where is the soon to be gamma please say your oath"
" I Nova Scott Neville, pledge to work alongside the alpha and beta of this pack,and to over see protection but training the warriors and not bringing disgrace to my ancestors"
" I Cody Mike Mason, have heard the gamma and is satisfied and with this I humbly step down from my post as the gamma if this pack and hand it down to Nova"
" Now last but not the least, please the Luna should come on stage"
As soon as the Novox said that the entire place went quite.
