As you all should know, the death of George Floyd has sparked a wave of protests, not just in the U.S, but also around the world. I'm sure you've also heard about the violence that has been happening in the protests in America, so I am here to bring you some relieving news.
Today, protests were held all around the country, not only to honour the many lives of our bothers and sisters on the other side of the world, but to also give clarity to the 430 deaths in custody from Aboriginal peoples here. Everyone was shouting their voices with pride, as the resounding chants filled the cities.
Just this action alone, shows that voices can be heard with the same amount of force and just as loud, without all of the violence in the world
Because all lives matter
And right now, we need to make black lives matter, just as much as everyone else's lives
