Chapter 14

Meeting

We're back inside the house, eating our morning meal. Imario and Airo was laughing something that I don't understand. Kelani was busy teasing her brother because Syntax was not in the mood. The bunny I brought a while ago was in the cage.

"Wait, saan mo nakuha ang bunny?" Imario asked.

"Weird right? Wala namang rabbit or bunny dito." Airo said while creasing his forehead.

"Thimothy gave his rabbit and he's nice." I said. They all looked at me disbelief. What? What's wrong?

"Who's Thimothy?" Syntax coldly asked while looking into my eyes.

"I found him in the forest. He's friendly." I smiled to them.

"Hindi ka ba niya sinaktan or something?" Kelani checked my body and I chuckled.

"No, he's a nice guy. He gave Silver willingly, the cute bunny." I said but their forehead are still creased.

They don't believe me. "I could sense he's harmless." I added.

"Maybe he's a spy."

"A kidnapper."

"No." I replied Imario and Airo. Syntax is still looking at me coldly that I don't know why. Kelani sighed.

"Never do that again." she said and touched my face. I nodded.

It was late in the afternoon the four of them had a meeting in the kitchen while me was in the living room busy watching the tv. I saw the cute bunny eating his carrots. He's so cute!

Their meeting was done less than two hours. Imario and Airo was jokingly punching each other and Kelani was eating chips beside me.

"For now hindi ka muna lalabas ng bahay without our permission. We don't know may mga masasamang taong maligaw dito." she seriously said and then she smiled assuringly.

I feel like I'm back being locked inside. All of a sudden I felt sad and I don't like seeing myself being behind closed doors it will remind my unforgettable past.

I will study more about things that I want to know. I need to know about something that's bothered me the most everynight.
