Chapter 21

Sudden

"Space, you need to escaped right now."

"I'm not your grandma."

"The olive open ring."

"We found you lying unconciously."

"They changed your hair."

"Vanilla biscuits."

"You are my daughter but I can't touch you."

"I have illness."

"The purple bracelet."

"Pia Streep."

I woke up and I touched my head, my head is aching. I need to drink some water to ease the pain. I wore my bunny slippers and went to the kitchen.
It's already dark outside. I've been sleeping for hours and I sighed. I hope it's not a dream.

I saw Syntax was busy cooking. He turned and looked at me, his face is full of confusion and sadness.

"Nawalan ka ng malay sa likod." he said while holding a spoon.

So, it's not a dream. Should I tell him that someone came here? I remained quiet. He eyed me but he diverted his gaze, he always do this.

"Dadalhin nakita sa city." Shocked was all over my face and I seriously looked at him, he acted like it's normal. What's with the sudden changes?

"Why?"

"It's not safe here." he said and sat in the high chair while sipping the soup, I still don't get it.

"What do you mean it's not safe here? Do you seen some unusual things lately?" He dropped the spoon on the table and he acted normal but I sense something unusual on him, something was on him.

"Hindi na kami babalik dito. I'm going to take you in the city." He walked out and leave me without a word, confusion was all over my face.

I don't understand. Why, now? Maybe because he find me lying unconsious in the backyard but it's okay for me, maybe I could gather some information or some evidences in the city.

I went to him and looked at him in the living room, he was busy talking to his phone but I can't hear words like he was whispering.
