everyone knew rafe as the bad guy. I know there's more to him than that though. after all, he just wanted to feel some love from his family. rafe and I had grown up together. plain and simple, he was my best friend and now my boyfriend. everything that had happened in our  lives we got through together. however he still thought that I could do better.

rafe had been silent all day, only nodding to what I was saying or making a noise in reply. we were in his room, me doing my hair ready for the party which was happening later and rafe sat on his bed scrolling through his phone with a TV show playing in the background, just so it wasn't silent. a few moments passed when I got up from where I was sat, happy with my hair when rafe finally said something.

"y/n" he  said looking up from his phone.
"yes love"  I  replied slightly smiling at the boy in front of me.
"why are you with me, there's boys here that could give you one hundred  times more than I could. heck even those pouge  boys would be better for you than me. I'm a lost cause and I cant see you come down with me. " he said breaking the eye contact to wipe the tears that were now forming in his eyes.

" rafe.." I said calmly as I moved myself closer to him. I wiped the tear that fell down his face as I pulled him into me.
" I don't want anyone but you, rafe  you've been beside me since I was born. do you really think anyone could come anywhere close to you. god I love you so much, I love you so much that if we're apart for more than an hour I go insane...

...i love you more than I love myself, my family, anything. it's you, and it's always going to be you. you're never going to be a lost cause because if were together we can never be lost and you know that. you're more than enough for me, i don't know how i got so lucky." by now i had realised the tear that had escaped down my cheek and onto his shirt in front of me.

his  hair nestled into the crook of my neck as he placed small kisses every few seconds. "you really are something special gorgeous" he whispered.

"i don't know what i'd be without you, i promise one day i'll give you my last name, and it'll be me and you forever. I love you so much, so so so much" he continued as i moved my hands to twine in his hair. " forget about the party, i want to stay here with you" rafe stated as he moved his arms around my waist.
