Third Person's POV:
After two to three weeks they moved back to Karachi. Fatima decided to live with her parents because she cannot bear to see her mother in law every day. Yousaf promised her that he will buy her new house, but it will take some time.
Inaam, the best thing ever happened to her, her bundle of joy. Everything goes back to their own places just because of inaam. Fatima's parents forgave Amina but they were still rude with saim. Saim understood that he has to give more effort to make his relationship good with in-laws. Amina and Saim's son, Ali, is now almost 1 year old. A cute naughty boy. He became so attached to inaam in just week. Amina regularly visits her parents so that she could mend her relation.
Fatima's father in law, Usman Sahab, visited her in hospital. He even brought baby clothes, some toys, and baby cot for inaam. Dada's jaan is what he calls inaam. About her mother in law, she visited Fatima in her parent's home. Asma begum's eyes teared up seeing her granddaughter. She was in so guilt that she couldn't meet anyone's eye. After one visit she didn't contact her.
Soon they shifted to their own house. Double story house with 3 bedrooms, 1 master bedroom, attached bathroom, living room kitchen, little balcony with a master bedroom, and a beautiful garden. This house was smaller than the previous one but it was perfect for their little family.
Asma begum begged Usman Sahab to stop them from going but he said that if they are happy then I won't stop them. Yousaf assured her mother that he will try to visit them whenever he gets time but no promises.
Just like that life goes.
One day or another, a person will be remorseful for what he has done, but by then it would be too late.
******
One night, he decided to confront her. Inaam was sleeping in the baby cot placed near their King size bed. Fatima was laying on the bed watching TV. Yousaf went to the bathroom did his business, came back to the room. He went towards her, sat beside her. She turned her head looking at his face.
Since they came back to Karachi they hardly got any time to talk. Just normal random talk. He got busy in his job and her day would be spent with inaam. Most of the time they don't talk. It seems like both are ignoring the main topic.
"Wo meiney kehna tha kay..¿!" He started.
(Actually, I wanted to say..¿!)
"Kia kehna tha?"she raised an eyebrow.
(What?)
"Uth kay betho pehlay!" She got up and sat straight facing him.
(First, get up!)
"Kia hai ab btao?"
(Tell me now what??)
"Kia tumnay mujhay maaf kia? Mein boht dino se yahi soch raha hon. Os time hum sahi se baat nahi kr pai thay phir inaam ho gai , tum us mein masroof ho gai or mein apni job mein"
