Third Person's P.O.V:
"Mama Mama Mama" she shouted running down the stairs.
"Kia hoa?" Her mother shouted from the kitchen. She ran toward the kitchen.
"Mama wo na wo" she tried to speak through heavy breaths.
"Sans lo larki ku had waqt hawa kay ghoray pe sawar rehti ho?" Her sister slapped her back and gave her a glass of water.
"Mama wo manoo sans nahi le raha. Wo aisay zameen pe gira the hoa hai. Pata nahi kia hoa hai ose". Manoo is the name of her cat. A blacken white cat, which she adores too much.
"Kia pata maar gia ho" his brother also came inside the kitchen to watch a new family drama that is just going to happen now.
"Dafa ho manhoos. Mama chalain meray sath" she dragged her mother to the terrace.
They all gathered around the cat who had taken his last breaths.
She picked the cat in her hands and gently stroke his hair.
"Varisha beta he is died" her mother gently said. It took her a minute to understand what her mother said.
"Y..ye nahii , nahi mama kal to ye theek tha. Nahi maar sakta ye" she was on verge of crying. Clutching her cat's dead body to her chest she sat on the ground.
"Hum new le lein gai varisha. Billi hi to hai" sitting beside her, her sister walijah rubbing her back.
"Per manoo to nahi ay gaa naa" she cried.
"Koi baat nahi. Hum new lein gai. Bilkul iskay jaisa chalo ab ise dafna dein." Her brother took mano from her hands.
They dig a hole in the backyard, placed the dead body inside it, and then filled the hole.
The whole day she spent in her room crying for her loss. No one disturbed her. They knew how much she loved maanoo and she needed some time. Animals are also like family. Close to your heart. Even though they cannot speak but their owners can easily tell what they are saying.
*Knock knock*
"Who's there," varisha said. Her voice was hoarse due to crying.
"Varisha tyaar ho jao. Amina Aunty and her family is coming tonight" her sister, Walijah said.
Zameer bhi ay ga. Uth jao.
Her conscious reminded her.
"Achaa" she shouted from room. She quickly got up from bed when towards the bathroom to freshen up. Her eyes swollen due to crying.
"Concealer will do its magic," she said and then opened her cupboard to took out a dress.
"Mama ko kitni baar kaha kay meray pass kapray nahi hain. Ab Zameer kia sochain gai" she pouted and again looked through the cupboard full of clothes. She sat on the ground. In front of her was a pile of clothes. She tiredly looked at them.
