It was his turn this year to have the Christmas party. Every year the seven would have a Christmas party at eachothers houses. 

So far Piper's had one at her mansion in L.A. Jason had a big party at CHB, Because he doesn't have a house... Frank and Hazel threw one together at CJ. Annabeth had a small party at her house in San francisco, and much to her dislike, Leo kept pulling pranks with her twin brothers Bobby and Mathew. 

But this year, it was his turn. 

He was going to have a small gathering with the seven, plus Nico, Reyna, and Calypso. His mom and Paul would be there too, along with Carl the mug :P  - his favorite coffee cup, it helped him get though some tough times that mug- ! 

He especially couldn't wait to see Annabeth, It's been a whole two weeks since he's seen her. Being without her was like substaning from water, and for a son of Poseidon...that was very hard.

He was planning to take her on a moonlit walk in central park, after they have opened presents, of course! He was also planning on asking the question he had been wanting to ask her for so long.

Sitting on his bed He carefully took out a small velvet box. Cautiously opening it he saw the beautiful ring that was enclosed inside. 

It had four small diamonds sort of forming a cross. But in the middle of the crosslike shape, was a slightly bigger diamond. The jews were held together with a gorgeos silver band. He delicately put it back in the box, and put the box into his pocket.

Annabeth, thankfully, would be comming early to help him set up for the party. In fact, She should be here any minute now! 

Percy got up off his bed and made his way to the kitchen. He sat down on one of the counter stools and greeted his mom, " Hey Mom. " He said smiling really happily. 

" Well someone's excited! " She said half laughing. Then she looked him in the eyes seriously, " Don't mess it up. " Percy blushed and got a nervous look in his eyes ( A/N Like O.O ). But then his mom started laughing, " Oh Percy! I'm just kidding, You'll do great. "  She said with a smile and a gleam in her eyes. 

Paul was at the store picking up some baking supplies. My mom was going to do the baking. While me and Annabeth are gonna be putting up decorations.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. I rushed out of my seat--almost tripping, and having my mom laugh-- ran up to the door, and paused. Slowly taking a deep breath, I opened the door.

Then I saw her Beautiful face, Perfect blonde hair, and intense grey eyes. She was wearing a Christmas sweater and dark jeans. Her hair was pulled up in a ponytail, like always. 

At first we just stood there a moment taking in each others presence. Then we ran into each others arms and kissed. A good I-haven't-seen-you-in-two-weeks-and-I-missed-you kind of kiss. 

We broke apart and just stood there hugging. But we were interruped by a throat being cleared. We took our arms off of each other and turned to the sound.

I had totally forgotten that my mom was still here. We both blushed a little, but then started laughing. Our faces were still a little red though.

After we finished laughing, my mom got up and hugged Annabeth. " Hi Annabeth! " She said happilly. " Thank you so much for comming early to help " She said smiling.
