THE GANG EXCEPT FOR CHANDLER was preoccupied preparing for the upcoming TV program. They had been counting (and, in Chandler's case, dreading) the minutes up until this moment with Cassidy, Joey and Rachel on watch-duty just in case the interview started early. Meanwhile, Monica was grabbing the popcorn from the cupboard, Ross had gotten the chocolate ice cream out of the freezer and Phoebe's bowl stood ready to be filled with the same popcorn that Monica was preparing.

It merely looked like Cassidy and Joey were doing nothing, just sitting next to each other on the sofa of Monica and Rachel's living room but their concentration was razor sharp, their eyes glued onto the screen. The latter apartment resident sat to their left on a chair, studying her french nails for a second before she looked back up, casually glancing at the television so as not to miss the start of the show. Chandler was the only one not sharing the group's enthusiasm as he leaned against the backrest of the sofa.

When she heard him speak up, commenting on the story Monica and Phoebe had just told them, Cassidy turned her head, not missing the usual sarcasm in his tone as he asked, "Are there no conscious men in the city for you two?"
