Dracos pov
As me and harry walked down the streets I text the gang chat and asked them all to leave the house. The only ones that might possibly be there would be Dean or lavender. They all replied with either "I'm at school" or "I'm already out" I asked them not to come back until i told them to. I was praying that they hadn't left anything bad out on the table or something. I looked over at harry, he was still hugging his book to his chest and staring at the ground like it was the most interesting thing in the world. I sighed and grabbed his hand
"Wanna get something to eat?" I asked. He looked up and nodded his head. I smiled and let go of his hand and wrapped my arm around his shoulders. We walked into a small coffee shop and got a coffee and a sandwich each. We sat down at a small two person table, I grabbed Harry's hand over the table making him blush. Nobody could see us, we were the only customers in the shop and all the workers were out back. We quietly ate as our legs tangled together under the table making us both blush.
Once we were finished eating we left with our coffees. The streets were quiet as everyone was either at work, school or keeping out of the cold weather. Harry wrapped his arm around mine and rested his head on my shoulder as we walked. I blushed and looked down at him smiling. Suddenly Harry's phone rang. He stopped walking and turned the screen to me so I could see who it was. His dad.
"Should I pick up?" He asked nervously.
"Maybe, I think it would be better if you did. Takes away the punishment later" I said. He nodded his head and grabbed my hand answering the phone as we started walking. He was silent and then he started crying. I stoped walking and looked at him shocked. I went to take his phone from him but he pushed me back
"Are you joking?" He asked his dad. He sounded so broken, I decided to hug him instead. He said a last quick okay before hanging up. He grabbed onto me and started crying into my shoulder
"harry?" I whispered
"mu- mums in hospital... she got into a serious car accident... shes on life support" he said tightening his grip on me
