" Lilian, are you ready?" Her mother asked her.
" Almost done, mother!" She yelled from across her bedroom.
She quickly packed her books in her bag and walked out.
" First day of school today, right." Her mother said
" Finally, no more homeschooling." She said out loud
Her mother chuckled at her behavior.
" We should go now." Her mother said" we wouldn't want to be late on the first day of school, right."
Lilian nodded her head and followed her to her car.
A few minutes later they made it to the school. It was quite big from the outside. It got her wondering what it looked like in the inside. The car stopped infront of the entrance and she got out the car.
" Have fun sweetie." Her mother said
" Okay, bye mom." She said while waving her hand at her mother.
Her mother drove off and she turned around and faced the building infront of her.
She exhaled and said-
" You can do this." She said to herself" It's the same as talking to people online."
She opened the door and at the sametime the bell rang. The doors of the classrooms opened and a crowd of teenagers filled the hallway. She stood infront of the exit whilst staring at the other students. Some students looked at her as they walked passed and a few gossiped. Lilian knew going to a public school would put her in the center of attention. After all she was a Wang and everyone knew the Wang family. They had one of the biggest companies in China and that's one of the reasons she was homeschooled, because people won't stop trying to scout her.
She inhaled and exhaled before walking to where she thought the office was. Luckily for her she managed to find the office without anyone's help. Once she entered the office. The office ladies were amazed of her beauty but they tried not to show it.
" Excuse me, do you know where the principal's office is?" Lilian asked the woman who was at the front desk.
The woman pushed her glasses back up and said-
" You see that door on your right." She said and Lilian nodded." The first door you will see and it will have a sign saying ' principal's office'." The woman said
