She got ready for the book fair they invited her to. Looking at her closet she found some old sweatshirts from when they lived together. She smelled them, her scent filling her lungs. It smelled like vanilla and strawberry milk. She put them where they belong to she took out a shirt and some black jeans. Her amber hair getting a little tangled as she wore her shirt. Fixing herself, she left the house. On the way she grabbed a coffee from some place she always visited. They chatted with the cashier about the fair really quick. He was nice to her no matter what. She wished she could fake it and act like she had some emotions to return back with kindness to whom was nice to her. After finishing her coffee she waved him a goodbye and walked back to her car. She put on a CD, music was an escape for her but so was writing. Expressing herself with her books while losing her mind in the loud melody, that was her way of escape. When she finally arrived, she sat at a table that had her name. She organized everything and just waited for people to come. She checked her phone and when she looked up again... She saw her, standing near another table. And then, she witnessed the last thing she wanted to see. Him standing right next to her, wrapping his arms around her waist, smiling at her.
