Mrs. Luna slowly followed Lucas. It was far enough to ensure that he didn't notice, but just close enough so that she could clearly follow him around. She was contemplating how she would get Lucas to hate Lauren. She finally caught up to Lucas and said, "Ah Lucas, what are you doing out here?" Lucas stared in wonder at here, debating whether to stay and talk or run away as fast as he could. She was, after all, a villain.
"Just... walking to my dorm?"
"If you're upset about what Lauren said..."
"What? What did she say?"
"Oh... you didn't hear... I shouldn't even mention it."
"No... tell me. Did she say anything bad?"
"Nothing too bad at all, all she said was she wished you weren't being... well... I don't exactly know how to say this without being TOO harsh."
"I'd like to know what she said."
"Oh Lucas, all she mentioned was that she wished you weren't so different from the rest with who you love and all... that's all."
"She... said that?"
"I'm sure she meant no harm...""Oh she meant all the harm in the world!"
"She alienated you from the group."
"How do I... get her back? Maybe if I just apologize..."
"Of course not! She alienated you, she simply doesn't know what she's doing and how she's hurting you, she's going to have to experience it in order to understand what she's doing wrong."
"I'm not getting what you're saying...""If you alienate her from the group, she'll understand her errors, apologize to you, and bring you both back."
"I mean... I wouldn't really want her to feel bad."
"Why ever not?"
"Because... she's great! She helped me tell my parents... and even if she may not see me the same anymore... I don't want to hurt her. I guess I just didn't know she didn't like me anymore that much."
"I'm afraid I didn't want to do this Lucas.""Do wha- uh oh..." Lucas attempted to run away from Mrs. Luna, his legs moved fast and his eyes darted all over the place looking for places to hide. He had no idea what she was going to do but it was much too dangerous to be there to find out. He berated himself, he knew he shouldn't have talked to her and just walked away, he knew she was lying about what Lauren said, and yet he still stayed! He made the mistake of looking back for a second, just to see how far she was. It was, unfortunately, too late to turn his head back around. "Mandatum!" Lucas stopped in his tracks, his eyes changed from their normal blue to completely white, no pupil or iris present. His hands drooped, his legs crossed, and it looked like he shut off. 5 seconds passed, then 10, but Lucas wasn't moving. "Ugh, this curse is taking so long." Mrs. Luna tapped her foot impatiently and finally walked over to Lucas. She snapped her fingers in front of his eyes and he finally returned to his normal state. "Do you understand me?" The curse and Lucas stood back up, Lucas's pupils returning to its normal state.
"Yes."
"Same voice, similar looks, perfect. Now, do you follow my every command?"
"Yes," the curse grinned. A new master, a new body to take over, it forced Lucas in a corner, the sultry words of Mrs. Luna echoing through the mind. Lucas was no longer in control of his body.
"Hm, such a shame, really. If you'd have listened to me the first time we wouldn't be in this predicament." The curse just tilted his head in curiosity, imploring her to explain further. "Ah well, all's fair anyways. If your pitiful friends try to break the curse then well, lives must be broken for me to reign. If not, well then I have myself a minion. Win-win. Now, curse, using Lucas's body and thoughts, I need you to alienate Lauren. Make her feel the same way you felt, how she doesn't like you anymore, show her you don't like her. Make her cry, make her feel worthless, make the others hate her. She'll go insane, crazy."
