The song from Sandcastle Kingdoms was my alarm, it had been since the album came out. It was accurate to how I felt, lost and alone. I don't have time to dwell on these thoughts."

     Y/N crawled from her sheets, humming the rest of the song as she got ready for the day. Her lunch was made the night before, so all she had to do was grab her plaid skirt, suspenders and white button up, then eat.

     Y/N checked the weather, grabbed an umbrella, then left. The rain poured heavily, hitting the ground like bullets, pelting a platinum blond like coins falling from the sky. She was Y/N's friend. They shared English and that kick started their friendship.

     By the day's end, Y/N walked Ann home, letting an 'I love you' slip out. Ann turned, her cheeks dusted a light cherry as she replied with a mumbled 'love you too'.

     Y/N blinked, dumbfounded as to what just happened.

"I forgot, I got you something. Our friendship anniversary is today. I know it's a dumb thing to celebrate, but you've been so nice. Here, Ann."

"Y/N... I-"

     A dark brunette and tall blunette walked by, stopping and listening. The male stepped forward.

"Ann, is she bothering you?"

"No, this is Y/N, my friend."

"Yusuke I swear to god and back... I know you're still horny for Ann, but keep it in your pants. We're gonna see Akira, remember?"

"Ah, yes. Sorry, Katy. My mind jumped in an irrational direction."

"Love you too, dumbass."
