When I turned around I saw... Ashton! Nearly falling over from spinning around, my back hits the door, letting out a semi loud thud. He was seated on my lounge chair reading a book. Nearby was a set of clothes and what seemed to be a white wig...

"Wh-what are you doing here- how did you get into Reverse?!"

"Not important, what's important above all else, is that you're safe." His words made my heart flutter yet... Something about him being here bothered me more than it should have. It almost made me feel nervous.
"Uhh...One thing..."

"Hm?"

"How did you get into my room? The door was locked."

"Oh through the window."

"THAT'S NOT NORMAL!!!"I slapped my hand over my mouth when I remembered how late it was! Ashton laughs softly at my outburst, remarking that I haven't changed one bit.
"So, how are those ruffians treating you?"

"They're not all ruffians, Leona is a bit on the rough side but once he opens up a bit, you see that he's a person who cares more than others seem to realize. So please, before you judge them, get to know them."This didn't seem to sit well with Ashton, he scowls just a bit. Then rolled his eyes and brought back the princely smile.
"I see, well! Remember all fun must come to an end. Your place is in Upright and it'll always be your home. You don't belong here with the baddies."

"Who are you to tell me where I belong? I belong where ever I see fit!"I was floored by his words. This isn't the Ashton I have a crush on... I feel like this is his true colors or I've been too blind to notice he was an asshole from the beginning.

Headmaster Crowley randomly summoned me to the teacher's dorm but before I could head to the office, I heard voices just down the hall.
"Who are you to tell me where I belong? I belong where ever I see fit!" It was M/n's voice, he sounded angry.
"They brainwashed you! No one in Reverse is actually good. They're just using you."

"You're lying! Everyone here has been nothing but kind to me. You don't know anything about the people of this world!"

"They'll hurt you, I know it and when it happens-"I heard a thud against the door, that worries me and I gently placed my hand on the doorknob.
"Don't come running to me for help."

"You're despicable...Get out before-"

"Before you what?"I took that as my cue to yank the door open! M/n fell against me and whoever was with him made an extremely quick exit from the room via the window.
"You okay?"

"Ye-Yeah... What are you doing up so late?"

"Headmaster Crowley wanted to speak with me but I'm glad I actually listened and didn't blow it off. So who was that?"

"An asshole I used to like..."M/n walked over to the table, grabbed the white wig, and the pile of clothes that sat underneath it.
"...It would seem our mysterious man isn't so mysterious after all."

"Oh? Could you fill me in on his name?"

"Ashton Hiddleston, son of Cinderella."I've never heard him sound so disgusted before until now. He must really be beating himself up about this.
"Hey, it's not like you knew he'd be an asshole."

"Ugh, my mama had a bad feeling about him from the start! Why didn't I listen?! This could have been avoided because now I feel like a complete idiot for falling in love with him!"

I asked Leona what he was doing after this and he mentioned heading to the Headmaster's office. So I tagged along in order to tell him what happened.
"Thanks, Leona, for saving me from whatever was to happen."

"Ah, no problem it was honestly the right thing to do. You're like one of us at this point, no matter who you choose. You stuck up for us against someone you had feelings for. So thank you."That was the first time this ruff and tough Lion has ever shown me such a handsome smile and the way he spoke was just as soft as the wind.

We reached the Headmaster's office and before Leona could knock the door swings open.
"Leona- Oh?! M/n what are you doing up?"I asked that we all step into room before I told him, once we did, I told him everything from beginning to end and the look on his face darkens greatly.
"Prince Ashton is trying to destroy the agreement between your parents and me.
I fear that Ashton came here with ill intent, he came here to harm you and make it seem as if Reverse was absolutely unfit and therefore your parents would demand that you return to Upright."I didn't want to believe him but... The look on Ashton gave me when he trapped me against the door, said it all. At this moment, I think it started to sink in. The way Sebastien started to treat me and Ashton's sudden interest in me mere weeks before the gathering.

I felt my nose sting, my eyes start to water, and my chest began to hurt. I cried right there and then when I realized that I was being used but I didn't know Sebastien's reason just yet.
"Leona, return to your dorm. I'll call in Rouge to escort the young prince to his room."

"No, it's fine, I'll take him back. There's no need to wake that grumpy human up at this time of night. We all know how they get."Leona turns to me and sweetly asks if I wanted a piggyback ride and I nod, not trusting my to speak through my tears.

Leona placed me in bed and said good night as he left the room but I don't think I could sleep...Not after what I just went through...
