He Noticed Me (A Lashton Fanfiction)

Chapter 2

Hey guys, wow I feel like I'm updating this really fast :), hopefully I don't get writers block throughout  this story that would suck. Anyway I won't talk for long, here's Chapter 2 sorry for the cliffhanger on Chapter 1 :P, don't judge.

Chapter 2  

Luke stood there in the hallway waiting for his next class, music. Music is his favorite subject. The boy's mind instantly wandered off, daydreaming about another boy and how he was going to see him again in less than five minutes. He thought of Ashton's beautiful face. The way his it spreads out when he grins, how is teeth shows, his eyes sparkle playfully and cheeks get slightly dimpled. Luke only caught Ashton doing this on the rare occasions when he did get see the older boy. It always managed to get Luke off guard and made it hard for him breathe. Luke bit his lips and stared at the ground. The boys head snapped up when the bell interrupted his thoughts and people already started piling into the classroom. He let them through politely but nobody noticed. He noticed he hadn't seen Ashton yet but was sure that he was at school today. Luke decided to wait for Ashton to finally try to talk to him. Instead Luke saw two boy's he didn't recognize come up to the door and snickered when they put a note on it. One of them had bright red fluffy hair that Luke thought looked like he had dyed it too much. The red haired boy also had a eyebrow piercing and was a black Misfits t-shirt and black skinny jeans. The other boy was wearing just a plain black shirt and black skinny jeans. He had black hair that was sticking up in a quiff. He had a dark complexion and the other boy was quite light skin coloured. Luke instead on focusing on the boy's and the note, was thinking about how Ashton hadn't come to the class as he wasn't usually late to class.

The boy with the bright red hair then turned to Luke and said threatening "You didn't see nothing got it? To make sure you say don't anything about this we'll find you after school".

The blonde boy nodded frowning and just continued to walk into class just after the other boys left. He walked to the guitar's and no one payed attention to him. Luke tried to play and get lost in his music but he could'nt. He looked around the class and watched everybody doing their own thing looking for Ashton in case he missed him but he was still nowhere to be seen. Half way through the lesson Luke looked up to look at the time and sighed when it was only 2:32. He looked down at his acoustic guitar then looked  up at the door when he heard someone open it. Luke's breathing hitched and his heart instantly started to race. Luke sat there watching Ashton as the teacher was shouting at him but he wasn't concentrating on Ms. Johnson's words he was focusing on Ashton's face and how his lip's had curled into a slight pout from being clearly upset. Luke's eyes widened and he gasped slightly only thinking about Ashton and nothing else. Luke watched Ashton stomp slightly towards a desk and plonked down on a seat with his back facing Luke. Luke looked down and found a empty chip packet on the floor. He picked it up and slowly walked towards the bin at the front of the classroom walking past Ashton and watching the back his head. Luke put the packet in the bin and turned towards Ashton saying quietly "Hi Ashton".

Ashton didn't say anything obviously too upset and lost in thought. Luke sighed, sat down and continued to watch the back of his head.

I know i'm gay and know I have a crush on Ashton but I don't know how to get his attention, Luke thought sadly put his face in his hands just as Ashton was.

The bell finally rang and Luke walked out the classroom head bent and looking at the ground. He walked down the end of the hallway and out the school. He completely forgot about the little meeting he had with those two boys after school. Luke stopped walking for a bit and sat on a seat on the side of the footpath looking up at the blue cloudless sky thinking worriedly about Ashton, and what had upset him today. He heard a pair of hurried footsteps and looked up to find the two boys he saw before last period.

The dark haired one said "Did you say anything?"

Luke sat there confused a bit then realized what he meant and shook his head.

The dark haired boy said "good because it'd be a shame for you if you had told on us".

The red head said "yea cause then this would have happened". 

Luke's face screwed up as he was clearly in pain after he just got punched in the stomach. Luke gasped out a "I didn't do anything-".

His sentence go cut off as the red head continuously punched him in the stomach 5 more times and said "this is to make sure you still don't tell on us is that clear?".

Luke didn't answer. He fell and curled up into a ball on the grass groaning loudly. The two boys smirked looking down at the blonde boy in pain and quickly walked away before they got caught. He lay there for a few minutes recuperating. Luke didn't hear the next pair of footsteps over his own groaning. A shadow towered over him and a boy gasped saying "are you alright?!" He squatted down  beside Luke.

The blonde boy groaned and looked up shocked to see Ashton looking down on him. Ashton reached over and held out his hand towards Luke. Luke grabbed his strong hand that was surprisingly big and they brought Luke up to sit on the seat. Ashton sat down beside Luke and put a hand on his shoulder concerned about the boy he found. Luke tried to catch his breath but obviously could'nt as his crush was finally sitting right beside him with his hand on his shoulder, actually talking to him. Luke looked up at Ashton and saw he had a worried facial expression.

Ashton said again "Are you alright, are you hurt, oh my god of course your hurt, do you need help".

Luke smiled at the rambling boy and said quietly "I'm okay now thanks I uh  better get home".

Ashton frowned "are you sure you don't wanna come to mine? Oh my god I forgot, my name is Ashton what's yours?"

"Luke and uh no thanks I'm okay"

Ashton grinned making Luke loose his breath even more making him think how that was possible. "are you sure you don't need anything you just got beaten up, who was it".

Luke stuttered a bit and said "I-i can't say".

"Oh" the brown haired boy said looking down and then back up at Luke, "well I better get going I kinda just had a detention..... sort of. Hey Luke wanna hang out on Monday?" Ashton looked at Luke hopefully.

Luke gulped and said "sure". He couldn't help but say that enthusiastically.

"Okay well I'll see you then, bye!"

Luke said "bye" quietly in return and watched as Ashton walked across the street then turned and waved before continuing around the corner. Luke smiled excitedly then got up slightly limping and walked home.

Luke reached his house and opened the door taking a step inside. He realized no one was home yet and grabbed a packet of peas from the freezer placing it on his stomach. He gasped at how cold and bitter it was against his skin through his school shirt. Luke took of his shirt and turned the t.v on. He flicked through the channels until he found Spongebob. Luke sat there half watching the t.v and half thinking about his meeting with Ashton with a slight smile on his face. When Spongebob had finished he put the peas back in the freezer. His mum got home at 5:30 so he still had a hour and forty five minutes to spare. Luke froze when he heard a tiny meow come from the kitchen and ran towards it. He had forgot to feed the watch kittens that one of his cats had had a week ago and feed the rest of his animals. They were now more fluffy and cute. Luke's face now had a sad expression on it once he remembered that his mum said that they had to sell them. They already had two dogs, one was a border collie named Jess and other was a pug named Chester. Their family had now nine cats including the one week old litter and they were all tabby except one that was pitch black with a white nose which was Luke's favorite. What could they say? Their family loved animals. Once the animals had been fed Luke sighed and continued watching t.v waiting for his mother to come home. The house was far more quiet now that his two older brothers had now left the house and Luke was enjoying every moment of it.
