Lacy nodded watching him as he drove she touched his arm gently leaning forward. "Thank you Andy, your very sweet to help me."
She knew very little of the things around her but she did know that Andy would protect her as long as he could she felt safe. Something she knew she hasn't felt in a long time. "Of course" he smiled sweetly at her, she stuttered under the blue eyed smile how could she not? His eyes were as blue as a ocean and the stories his eyes told were just as deep. He pulled up to the emergency room quickly and had doctors carefully take Lacy out of his car. Which she fought to not show the pain the doctors made her feel when they jostled her. He seemed to grab her like is was from instinct. But he hesitated as if unsure of his own actions. Lacy gripped his hand afraid she didn't know anyone here or well remembered. She needed him. The blue eyed stranger that she knew all to well.
She whimpered softly as she was pushed into a x-ray room after entering the hospital the nurse told Andy to get behind the wall that had a window. Lacy didn't like being alone even though she could clearly see him. She felt isolated and like she was on the chop block. The only man she knew was a virtual stranger. But a stranger she's know for many years. It was so confusing for her. As the x-rays were done the nurse showed it to Andy explaining the damage to him quietly his pale face seemed to get whiter as he was told. Severe blow to the head, memory loss... possibly permanent, several bruising that would eventually show. Luckily no bone damage or internal bleeding. Andy looked like he was at loss for words, he looked like he was to soon cry and that it's self broke Lacy's heart why would the rebel hero cry over her? She called out nervously "A-Andy? Are you okay?" She asked softly sitting up slowly she winced every movement hurt her.
He stood up walking towards her. "Yeah I'm fine." He wiped the corner of his eyes with the back of his hand. "But are you okay?" he asked seeming very concerned. he took her hand again. Lacy sighs "My head hurts Andy." "I know" he whispered. She held his hand tight afraid she'd wake up or lose him some how she knew that he was the only one that cared in this small little town as the nurses quickly moved her to a hospital room
Andy called a nurse back for her in too see if Lacy could be put on more pain medication. "I'm not leaving your side" he assured her. Lacy looked at Andy sadly "but don't you have a family?" She asked softly knowing such a kind person couldn't possibly be alone. " Yeah, but not here. My boys are in L.A. and my parents live in Ohio." Lacy was confused was he gay or in a groupie or something? "Your boys?" She asked softly. "Yeah" he replied. "I'm in a rock band. But we just finished touring and I needed a break from all that... So I took a little extended vacation, dropped off the map for awhile."
He shrugged as not caring if his friends and family might be concerned. Lacy smiled faintly "what is your bands name?" She asked softly curiously she grabbing her phone off the side table where the nurse placed it. She flipped in on and turned to her music curious what she listened to before... She found Asking Alexandria, Of Mice and Men, Bullet for My Valentines, Greenday, Suicide Silence, Peirce the Veil, Sleeping with Sirens, Godsmack, and a whole playlist of Black Veil Brides. Andy grinned at her. "I'm the lead singer of Black Veil Brides." He seemed to be proud of that factor. That he was in a successful band that probably had millions of fans. Lacy looked at her playlist and chuckled "I do believe I am a fan..." She held out her phone to him. It held every song they ever sang even Sex and Hollywood to their cover of Unholy and Rebel Yell She blushed it seemed a bit over obsessive. But she thought she couldn't be the only one. Andy smile got bigger. "I guess you were." Lacy laughed putting it on shuffle it flipped to 'Lost It All'.
She smiled faintly closing her eyes. "I remember this one." The words were spoken as if they were said for her life. Her back was always against the wall she felt dead and broken often enough. She stretched out her wrist unknowingly uncovering scars over lapping scars. Andy gasped slightly. As if he was almost surprised. He reached out and paused her music, causing Lacy to pout he then grabbed her arm. he softly began singing Lost It All to her, her heart tightened up with emotions that controlled her and in between phrases softly kissed her scars. Lacy began crying feeling horrible for those actions that brought her relief. Lacy flinched at the first kiss looking down sadly bits of memories appeared but these were filled with screams and tears and blood and metal. She watched him sadly sparks shot up her arm on every kiss. He gave her how was this fair to him? A tear slipped down Andy's cheek. "It's gonna be okay." he forced a smile whispering Lacy nods faintly. "Andy thank you... I owe you my life in many ways. I know I'm just some fan girl but I hope maybe we could hang out more." She blushed red "I know I can't go back where I came from... Please?" She asked softly she remembered bits and pieces because of her scars and seeing them. Andy smiled. "Oh trust me, I'm not letting you go that easily..."
He gently kissed the top of her hand another scarlet blush crossed her, she was sure she would be red by the end of the week.
